This place overlooks Edinburgh’s old town, it’s absolutely stunning! The staff are lovely, so welcoming and kind! We met the Chef Claudia who was a gem and took good care of us.The food is amazing, I would highly recommend the prawn wontons in Tom yum broth. We also had the tacos and these giant mac and cheese balls which were enormous but so delicious!Overall a 10/10 experience for dining, atmosphere and price! Can’t wait to come back for more.

First stop off the train whilst waiting for our holiday apartment to be available. A quiet Monday early afternoon, staff were excellent ... Attentive, friendly, humourous ... And that first holiday pint was superb. Not really a beer drinkers pub, but the cocktail menu looked decent.

Not sure about food. But nice bar to grab a few drinks. Cocktails a bit pricey, around 10-12 pounds. But delicious. On the weekend can be pretty crowded.During summer time there is also a terrace to chill

The igloos no longer exist, with views of the castle, the kitchen wasn't working... mega empty, I don't understand why you should request a reservation.

Recently visited…the staff are attentive, hard working and fantastic in dealing with any request…5*!I found the manager to be hard work at best, I believe his name was Ryan.I wouldn’t normally pinpoint a particular person I question, but clearly has no care for personal service and treated the staff like absolute dirt. Not something you would expect in the hospitality sector especially not in front of paying customers. I felt bad for them and it overshadowed the experience that I had.To the staff, keep up the good work, to the manager , grow up and accept that you have everyday people working for you who don’t deserve your backlash!Would I return?…who knows, but lessons need to be learnt!

Yes was a good place to visit after a Hard days work ,Very saddened? that Edinburgh Council Jobsworthsdecided to have it closed down ,A Decision that angered me also thinking about those who had Jobs there ?.

Had a fantastic couple of hours in a dome this evening. The views were amazing as was the food and drinks but the staff stole the show tonight. All those that tended to us this evening were absolutely outstanding! Will definitely be booking in again.

Lovely bar, awesome location! Friendly staff and reasonable prices for the location, good tunes and good vibes generally! Highlight of the trip to Edinburgh - the "dogs back wheels" ?

Thank you Jenny for helping me with the gluten free choice on the menu. I am coeliac and the restaurant took the greatest of care. Jenny was so welcoming and attentive. What a charming atmosphere. Delightful Emma A. served us. The whole experience was wonderful.

We just visited the bar not the domes. Staff had little clue what was going on. We had a reservation but they had no table for us and so we were shoved in a corner in favour of bigger parties. We ordered food off the small plates menu and it was lukewarm when it arrived and pretty inedible. Found hairs in chicken wings. Admittedly the cocktails are good so if that’s all you want then give it a go but defo better places to visit for drinks in Edinburgh.
