GREAT COFFEE STOP !Having previously ordered cup cakes online it’s a fairly new thing for us to visit Cuckoo’s Bakery to sit in.Great drinks available with a good range of food on offer. Soup and cheese scones are always good, at a good price served by a very pleasant friendly member of staff.Thanks, we will definitely be back.

The almond croissants and the pain au chocolates will never disappoint you.The service was amazing, very attentive to the customer’s needs. Almost like reading customer’s minds.The cupcakes looked deffo delicious but I couldn’t take a bite :(Overall, I would definitely visit the cafe again when I visit Edinburgh.

Very disappointed. Ordered a 21st birthday cake for my son , paid and got a confirmation email but when arrived to collect the cake the shop was shut and no one was answering the phone. Eventually got an email reply to say that the order should not have been taken as the shop was closed for the Christmas holidays even though the 27th December was not a bank holiday.

Ordered online for daughter’s birthday, since we were in the states and she was in Edinburgh. Absolutely so easy, great staff accommodated time of delivery, delivery driver was super nice to her and made her feel special, cake was delicious. It is her new favorite cake. Wrapped with a bow and made with care, loved it!Thank you for being a wonderful staff and making a delicious wonderful cake.

Ordered a Chocolate Birthday Cake on line and it was delivered to the venue without any issues. The cake was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. People were asking about where I bought it so they could order one for future events. Would highly recommend Cuckoo’s bakery.

incredibly delicious cupcakes! My partner and I chanced upon this bakery when our go to cupcake place in Edinburgh was closed. honestly we were shocked by how tasty they were! We got 1 toffee cupcake initially, we were hooked and ended up trying almost all flavours! I have to say the best was the award winning strawberry cheesecake cupcakes!! So irresistible that we returned the next day for more to share with my family before leaving Edinburgh (and they loved it too)! The staffs were super friendly too! :)

A cute little bakery that I passed several times during my walk down the street. I finally decided to pop in for a cup of tea and a treat. I ordered a carrot cupcake with a chamomile tea. I sat at one of the tables and dug into my food as soon as it all arrived! The little cupcake was sweet, moist and very delicious. The chamomile tea was piping hot and exactly what I wanted. I sat at the side of the table that faces the street and got to just relax for a while whilst enjoying my food.From what I remember their menu mostly consists of the cupcakes and hot beverages! However, if that's exactly what you want then you'll be good to go. I intend on returning to give more of those delicious cupcakes a try :)Make sure not to arrive too late if you want to be able to pick from any of the flavors offered on a particular day! But I'd definitely recommend it to anyone interested in giving Cuckoo's Bakery a try.

"what I've got is what I've got unfortunately" was the curt reply I got asking for my usual cake. I didn't think it was an unreasonable question. It's a shame, been going to this and another branch for ten (?) years and enjoyed picking up treats for people.
Am a regular here and never disappointed. Lovely scones, cakes, toasties not forgetting the coffee/tea. Staff always so friendly regardless how busy they are. Keep up the good work ! ?
