Great place but sadly it is closing on 31 March 2023 as the owner is retiring. They are unable to sell the business because of the current employment problems and high energy costs. My friend's and I have been going there since it opened 1978/1979. Many office and special celebration lunches. Sad times. ?

After a long break, where Fabio's was closed, it reopened and we went there for a Christmas meal. Glad to report same friendly waiters, same warm atmosphere and the food is just as good as I remember it being in the past. Hurray for Fabio's!

Tuesday lunchtime and the place was packed which is normally a very good sign. Thought service might be slow as there were only 2 waiters on duty but we were quickly served. My wife had the risotto and she said it was one of the best she had ever tasted. I had the veal which was also very nice. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Treated my Mum to a night out here. Very busy for a Tuesday night. Service was okay but jeez talk about .. well no talking! Zero attempts to engage with us from the waiters. Not just us, they were not talking to any guest. Yes they were busy, but jeez talk to your paying customers! You are there earning money because of them! When we left we had a mumbled goodbye. Oh and the chips are clearly oven chips. Other than that. An okay night. £65 for two courses and a drink each so not bad. Return? No.

Lovely food, great value, and my husband said his pizza was the best he’s ever tasted. The garlic bread with cheese was also amazing and my salmon tagliatelle was delicious.

Went to Fabio’s for the first time midweek. So good went back again at the weekend. Food is brilliant. Tried different pasta dishes and desserts and loved it. Well priced, great service. You won’t go wrong here.
