Visited today on the suggestion of a friend who has history of eating around Edinburgh. Absolutely fantastic food with a brilliant atmosphere, my fiancée speaks French and our waitress conversed with her fluently and made her feel very welcome. We had a brilliant beef bourguignon and enjoyed our time here. Would absolutely visit again if we ever find ourselves in Edinburgh.

Amazing food, very high quality and delicious. Quite pricey, but the portion sizes are huge and the ingredients are fresh so it’s worth it!

Wonderful French restaurant in an old converted church.

I've been meaning to visit this place for years, just because the building is so unique. I'm very glad that I did! The upstairs restaurant has a slightly old-fashioned feel, but is charming. the food and service was absolutely fantastic. There's a bit of a draught by the door, but otherwise top marks.

Lovely Restaurant. Was recommended by Host who's apartment we were staying in. Food fabulous. Lovely waiting on Staff. Highly recommend. They even brought my husband a desert out as it was his 60th Birthday...

Excellent. Good food well served at a great price. Well appointed restaurant. No wonder it was busy so you need to book. in advance.

Disappointing lunch I’ve recommended this place onto loads of friends family etc Lunch £19.95 2 courses in the past good quality and value Past few visits the food hasn’t been good ALL of the food is unseasoned Soup absolutely tasteless? Goats cheese starter / goats cheese almost non existent? Bread very poor quality Mains good but again unseasoned!!

We had a lovely dinner .The menu is not lengthy but there is enough choice with specials. We had scallops to start which were beautifully cooked.Mains were good portions .Felt my pork loin a little tough but tasty. The beef bourgiugnon was very well recieved. The wine was delicious . Staff were friendly and efficient .

Fantastic french cuisine. The Shetland mussels were a little on the small size, but delicious. The beef main just fell apart. Highly recommended!

Had a birthday dinner with 18 people. All was good, staff friendly, and had great food with various dishes selected for sampling. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and wine.

Never disappoints. Popped in for lunch today and forgot how enjoyable this place is. Firstly the service and staff are fantastic, a credit to the restaurant. The food was again fresh, delicious and well balanced. The wine recommendation again perfect. Thank you
