Excellent meal and service as per, the manager runs a tight ship and treats the customers with a friendly attitude. The chicken was delicious and delivered hot to the table; we love the spier wine choice snd the Portuguese beer excellent! Service from the team looking after us also superb! Definitely recommend this Nandos over all others!

I recently came here on the 10th of April 2023 with my partner and her child. After a busy day out in Edinburgh seeing the sights. We came early evening for our dinner we’re greeted by the friendly staff and sat promptly. I had a pripri chicken burger with piri piri fries which was really nice and my partner had a chicken burger which she enjoyed. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food came quickly. The only draw back to our experience was in where we were seated. We sat right a the doors in a booth which felt like we were constantly having other folk on top of us coming in and out. If we come here again I would much prefer a seat in the main restaurant area as it more comfortable looking and warm. However I definitely think if we are in the area again that we would return.

Absolutely exceptional lovely service and especially by Nando’s Team member Kelly Mackay, a beautiful voice of dulcet tones from home in the Hebrides Isle of Harris, thank you so much, highly recommend excellent service whether dining in or delivery service from Nando’s Omni centre Edinburgh, accommodate for all, love a cheeky Nando’s any day of the week especially after a busy day in NHS Lothian ??? Customer service was lacking. The staff seemed to all be very young, laughing and joking around playing pat - a - cake in the kitchen in full view of the customers. There was no older, more authoritative staff member in sight to keep the team on task. Food service was very slow! Plates were piling up waiting to be served. There was a very long gap between the starter and main course, to the point we had to ask when our food would be ready. To which we were told they were just waiting on one more piece of garlic bread. Surely the 4 pieces would’ve been done at the same time? When the food did arrive the chicken looked slightly undercooked, the garlic bread was as hard as rocks and the broccoli was a soggy mess in a bowl. We will not be eating here again, I recommend to avoid at all costs!

Spicy chickpea burger looked good on menu but was unavailable. Bean burger also unavailable. Bread in burgers difficult to chew through. Not a great choice for vegetarians

We were asked to sit outside the restaurant for 5 or 10 minutes to wait for a table. Soon afterwards, others walked straight in and were shown to a table. On asking to be let in, the waiter was rude to me, saying I should have gone up to the door - I pointed out that we were waiting as we had been told, then he asked if we wanted the table or not! I couldn't believe his attitude. We left, and will.NEVER return.

I went there to have dinner before going to see Shen Yun at Edinburgh Playhouse. It's perfectly located between the railway station and the theatre. I had a vegetarian menu (spiced chickpeas wrap, creamy mash, spicy rice). Delicious and cooked properly. The member of staff was very friendly. I would go there again if going to the same venue in Edinburgh.

Went to this Nando’s on a Friday with the cast, as we are performing at the theatre. Two show day and wanted to get some nice food! As we entered it was bad from the beginning, I asked the server (who was the manager on shift) for the fino pitta, with breast chicken instead of thighs. I had done this 2 days prior in the same restaurant, for him to say we don’t do that. I said I have got this before, he said no you haven’t, we don’t do that, so now I’m a liar. I said why if it’s been done before? He then proceeds to say we are to busy to do that if you can’t see. Firstly they weren’t busy, secondly you could have just said we are a bit tight it won’t be possible no need for rudeness! Anyways so ordered food with the group, and one without knowledge we were asking where are meals are 25 mins into waiting? Not being told food would be a 30 minute wait? Food ended up being a 45 minute wait, with one of our cast members waiting 55 minutes for food, because apparently a waiter brought his food and he wasn’t at his table. Which is a lie. So not only were we waiting ages we were blamed for why the food took long, they turned away people from the restaurant even though they had have the restaurant empty. Clearly they were understaffed, but instead of informing customers this was the case we were made to sit and wait without any knowledge or time frame of when our food would come! So even after this, our food came, one of the cast members food came cold so naturally we asked for a refund, but couldn’t get new food made as we have to get back to the theatre for the show that evening. So we said he will eat it cause he has no choice, so the manager muttered oh “free food and a refund”. Well yeah that’s what happens when the management is unfortunately poor. We all left the Nando’s very disappointed and dissatisfied especially having come before and had such a great experience. The managers name was Chris on shift and was very rude and not informative at all, forgetting this is customer service business, even if food is long the least you could do is manage the way you talk to people.

We came here to eat before taking our grandson to the theatre. It's been a couple of years since I have been to nando's so I wasn't aware of their complicated ordering system. Having to download an app so I could order from the menu at my table wasn't my idea of fun. Apparently you can still order at the till but only if you are paying cash. The food was still typically nando's when it arrived which reminded me why we hadn't been for a couple of years.

When trying to find a restaurant that my teen son would like, we tripped over Nandos, which he was happy to visit as he knew what to expect. We were seated quickly, the restaurant was clean, ordering system was explained and order arrived pretty fast. Food was hot and tasty, and the one small issue (drinks machine needing more syrup) was quickly resolved. Overall, good experience and will no doubt return!

Service just so so so slow. There were about three other groups when we went in. My friend's food came in about 20 minutes then mine was another 15 after that. It then also took 20 minutes to receive dessert which was only one tub of pre made ice cream. Staff were just wondering round but not actually paying attention to customers and I only got my ice cream because I asked. I would understand had it been busy but it was empty and the food - especially the ice cream could definitely have been delivered a lot faster.
