Although it was a quiet night when we visited, the staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. I had the chicken burger, which was more than enough food. Cooked perfectly and metl in your mouth. Would recommend.Kid-friendliness: There is the Stay and Play area for little ones for £4.50.

Terrible service! We arrived at the place for breakfast yet their sausages were way overcooked being all stuck to the bottom of the bowl. My wife had to feed the baby and they only allowed 30mins for so called buffet hence we could only tell them to count the rest 3 of us without my wife. When paying the bill at the end, the staff then insisted on charging for 4 adults even though my wife was feeding the baby the whole time.Quiet place with some view of the sea though.

Very good overall. Soft play good for kids, good value, breakfast was buffet style and usual good quality. Customer service was excellent and they honoured an advertised deal of feed a family for £18 as it said online from April hols but advertised outside for that amount.Parking: Good for parking and ideal if staying at the Premier Inn

Me and my daughter got unwell after visiting here two days ago which is extremely frustrating, I won’t be returning again. I noticed that the chef was coughing/sneezing when he came through to the bar area and this is why am led to believe that we have caught whatever illness the chef had.Don’t understand why people that work in hospitality can’t just TAKE THE DAY OFF. It’s a massive health and safety risk to customers and you’d think this would be taken seriously in a restaurant. disappointing.

Service was very slow and no care about the customer. The restaurant was busy but still only one staff working the bar /taking food orders and one serving the food.Food took an age to arrive and once it had, it was very small portions and over cooked. There was no atmosphere and nothing in the way of politeness from the staff. They seemed more interested in getting the restaurant ready for tomorrow's breakfast rather than serving the evening customers. The staff on this shift just did not appear to care and it looked like a smile would crack their faces.

I will never go here again. Food not cooked / returned twice and same happened for the table next to me. Activity packs for the kids advertised as shut me up bags. Please... have a little respect for kids.

Been here a few times when visiting friends. Good atmosphere. Great play area in the back for the kids but can get a little noisy. Never eaten so can't comment on that. Service has always been decent.

This is attached to next doors Premier Inn. The breakfast we had was of good quality snd lovely and hot. It was fresh too, the fried eggs were still runny in the middle.

Breakfast at the pub is very good value for money. There are plenty of options. Poached and boiled eggs cooked to order. I was stuffed. The main menu, on the other hand. Is a pretty standard pub chain menu. Most meals cooked with a microwave. Quality and freshness are not there. Restaurant was freezing cold. I sat in my coat. I couldn't get warm. Service was non-existent. 3 staff managing front of house. 1 manager. 1 food server. 1 bar server. Who happened to vanish and the manager couldn't find them. The manager was flooded with complaints. In particular about burgers. Lots went back to the kitchen. There is no host to seat tables. So it was a free for all. I waited at least 10-15 mins before the manager served me at the bar. As a queue was forming. But was trying to deal with complaints at the same the same time.Food ordered: fish and chips - semt ok. Chicken Tikka - curry and rice fine. Naan bread solid. Poppadom very soft. Roly Poly and custard. Too much pastry/ suet, not enough jam. Scrimped a bit on the custardAtmosphere was not great. 1st night, one table was drunk and loud. 2nd night, a guy pacing up and down constantly complaining to staff, pushing in at the bar. Always on the phone threatening people. This pub is meant to be a family pub with soft play. They hold birthday parties. We've been many times before food, atmosphere, and service have never been an issue. But it's changed for the worst. I wouldn't take my family there now for a meal.An alarm kept going off. Staff would fix it. Then it starts againNeeds a new refit. Carpet held together by tape in places. The toilets were very clean. The only plus point. They get 2 stats because their breakfast saves them
