“A must visit place while in Edinburgh. An icon in Scottish food. they take reservations, it gets booked quickly but also take walk-ins although the average wait is an hour. Great atmosphere , good food but limited variety/options. You will enjoy it!”

“Me and my partner came here for our anniversary. Genuinely had the best experience from start to finish.

We chose Fazenda as I had a voucher to use and honestly, even without the voucher I would have paid double for the experience.

The lady who welcomed us was friendly and warm, we had a few servers but all were lovely. Big shout out to the girl whose name I cannot remember but I’m sure she was Spanish?? Let me try a few wines and found a white wine that I ended up loving!

Food was great. I’m veggie and my boyfriend is a big meat eater and there were brilliant options as a veggie. The atmosphere was great and would come back in a heartbeat. Wish we were in a position to afford it but will keep it for special occasions!!

“During a recent stay in Edinburgh at the Hotel Indigo, I had the chance to dine here several times for dinner and breakfast and I found it to be quite charming with solid food and service. Some of my favorites at dinner were the venison carpaccio, the superfood salad (really refreshing as food in general is quite heavy) and the ravioli. Cocktails were also quite satisfying and I found that the whole staff was kind and helpful. At breakfast you can order a dish on their hot menu and take advantage of accompanying things like pastries, yogurts, cereal and smoothies. I had the traditional Scottish breakfast and loved it. Huge portions I couldn't finish. If you have a table by the window the view is amazing looking over Waverly market into the historic backdrop of the city. Vibes are so posh and modern, loved being able to spend several days eating here!”
