Stopped in here for a few drinks with my partner last weekend.Spent nearly £60 and only one of the drinks was palatable. The first round my partner said his was good but "tastes bit watered down". Mine was bland, it's tasted like water and Cranberry juice. I thought it was just a bad choice on my part. I waited for him to finish his and I took his empty glass up to the bar along with my (untouched - save for one taste) drink. I ordered a second round and we both went for margaritas this time... can't go wrong with a margarita surely...The bartender waited for me to pay for the drinks and then when collecting the glasses i was standing with said "oh, had i known these were coming back, i wouldnt have charged you". Surely it was obvious the drink was coming back given that the other glass was empty and I had brought them to the bar with me.Anyways, we were wrong about the margaritas being a safe bet... Both of them again, tasted watered down and we left at that point as (going by the bartender, they didn't seem interested in putting it right)I contacted them with very reasonable feedback via their online feedback form and they emailed me back, telling me to submit a feedback form. Apparently not realising that that was what I had done in the first place... (how on earth did they think I even contacted them... why tell me to submit feedback when you have it?)To add insult to injury, I then responded to that email pointing out that they already had my feedback. That was 3 days ago.No reply.

Small portion sizes. Handful of chips at most with burger. Overpriced for what you get.

We were so glad we didn't order starters or appetisers. As the main meal was more than adequate, even for the biggest of appetites. We had ordered the coke original until the waitress pointed out that zero or diet was bottomless. And our glasses were replenished before we had emptied them on every occasion. Thank you Leoni S

Regrettably, I've got to say this is pretty awful. Went here today, and there's not a lot going for it. Service is slow AF, and it's no excuse that it's because it was busy. The food, though, is poor. Had a burger, 'best ever' apparently, it was awful. Standard catering rubbery burgers, I'm gutted that I was a 1 minute walk from Butta Burger, that would have been cheaper and infinitely better.Never again.

We booked a table for Saturday night 7pm through Google then downloaded the TGI...Stripes app as they offer free dessert for each download as they copy code, so that was an extra bonus. We had the chocolate brownies with ice cream it was rich and delicious. Edinburgh TGI was really big, busy, pumping good tunes, chatter and ambient lighting. Table sizes for many sized groups. Staff were so obliging and on the ball. Food was delicious I had steak cooked to perfection. Nach sharing were spot on. They sang happy birthday to my friend with a slice of cake and lit with candle. Recommend a meal here as felt relaxed but maybe that was the cocktails.

Outstanding service from waiter. Starter with the bbq jack Daniels glaze was amazing however the burger was dry and over cooked.

Overpriced for the quality of food. Steak wasn't very flavoursome. Chicken wings were tasty. Sauces were tiny and you were charged a quid for an extra one. Drink prices extortionate. This will be my last visit to TGI's.

Pricing outrageous. I have no problem with paying for eating out and appreciate that prices are rising everywhere. But £15.60 for nachos and £10 for a slice of apple pie is a stretch. Won't be back.

We visited this location for dinner this evening and we can say that we had a great experience. The atmosphere was typical American as is every TGI, but the mixture of European architecture was well done. The food was also superb. Our server, Carmen, and Manager, Kristy, were very helpful and attentive to make sure our food allergies were taken into consideration and worked around. They went the extra mile and made us feel welcomed and had a great dinner. This made us feel valued and appreciated. We would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a good burger in Edinburgh!

Went for my sons 21st birthday lunch on November 1st. Outstanding service couldn't have been more helpful. He received a lovely piece of cake and a fabulous birthday song! Well done team

One of the best places for a good chocolate cake. We visited for dessert and both had the chocolate fudge cake, which we had planned on doing as we knew it was good!A bit flustered upon arrival as we were running late but the staff put us right at ease and were very attentive, especially our server, Junior. He was very friendly, chatty, and also very quick with our drinks and getting the bill, etc.The chocolate cake was delicious, which we knew it would be. Warm, soft and huge!Would highly recommend.

Visited again, lasy time was really good. Sad to say this time was the opposite. Waited ages, the food was not great. Had hoped to have a few courses and cocktails but had main and left. Won't be back.
