Off the usual tourist circuit, it is a very typical and pleasant Scottish pub, with a mostly Scottish audience, a sign that the food is good and at a reasonable price (and so we were able to actually see it).Abundant and rich dishes. You have to order and prepay at the bar and they bring it to your table. I recommend the 'Mixed grill' and the 'Balmoral chicken'.

I had lunch here on a spur of the moment suggestion to meet my wife there. The staff on duty were welcoming and friendly, I was served quickly. Our meals were served quickly, were delicious and good value. I will definitely be going

My best mate, my girlfriend and I visited on Tuesday 27th Feb.The service from all staff on shift between 8-12 was excellent. Elliot was absolutely exceptional. As a manager of a retail store his customer service was absolutely flawless. He is an absute credit to the bar!

Was OK but a vodka and lemonade (single) was £5.60 bit pricey.

Amazing pub, great selection of beer and lots of TVs for sport . Tasha and Elliott were great behind the bar and gave amazing recommendations for the city.

Nice pub, staff are always friendly. Food is good for the price that you pay. Only complaint is a lot of the time it's quite cool and you have to keep your coat on to stay warm.

Great pub, brilliant staff, we had a bottle of wine & haggis neeps & tatties. Was really nice, just what we needed before we headed of to see Elvis at the usher hall.
