For what it's worth, it's a decent place for it's price. You don't get service but it's not an overcrowded business. Which I like. The food is nice and it's community based, rather than another corporate machine. For travellers, local minorities and students it is perfect. They also serve chai which is nice.

Very nice! The service was great, and the portions are large. It was a quick and easy place to get dinner while in the city and quite cheap! I got the lentil curry and my sister had chicken tikka masala, and both were really tasty! Will be back for sure.

Don’t ask questions just come eat here. Don’t let your eyes deceive you. It might not look like much from the outside but this place is an absolute banger. Go for the chicken biryani, try the sauces, and love life.

The most affordable and authentic halal food in Edinburgh.

Delicious, authentic food . Inexpensive. Basic Café type surroundings.

The lady at the counter with the glasses was so rude. She had an attitude problem which ruined my experience even though the food was so tasty espscially the lamb.

I was harassed today as I sat alone for lunch, on my first visit to a place I had been wanting to try for a while. Canteen set up, but when I made it obvious to a bloke trying clearly to engage in conversation wanting my attention while I was eating, that I just wanted to eat lunch, he became fowl mouthed and aggressive . While the young spectacled waitress apologised and brought me water, her attitude was appalling, as her words were that since this chap was a regular “He is fine”Well he certainly was not to me and sadly I will not be back to the mosque kitchen anytime soon, which is a shame as the food was tasty.
