I've been going here occasionally for many many years now for the carvery. On the last two occasions, both around 8pm ish, we found the food not great but okay. Certainly not worthy of a complaint to management etc but the portions last night weren't very good considering we only wanted two meats, the turkey and beef, because the pork and gammon didn't look inviting at all. The turkey was lovely but sadly the beef was chewy and fatty. My favourite is usually the roasters but they had obviously been there a while so looked great but were really soggy not crispy. Most other veg was hard. Overall, food wise was certainly edible but merely okay. The staff were excellent, the place itself lovely. Would I go back? Yes albeit probably earlier on to see if any difference in food quality and if so ill returnwith 5stars. We enjoy the atmosphere as its a nice place.

Nice place to go for a carvery, friendly staff. Carvery was nice you get choices of the meat you'd like. The ice cream sundaes are beautiful, can't beat them.

Had booked ahead and stated requirements, but when arrived no table was ready. Meeting up with friends for catch up over dinner, had a lovely meal and restaurant not busy at end but felt rushed to leave as we chatted.Wheelchair accessibility: No issues, if booked ahead
