Food was bad. Dry lamb shoulder with no flavour. Probably frozen or cooked in advance and left sitting on a hot plate. Tasteless vegan burger. Mcdonald are better than Whiski Rooms chips. Only food was good was the haggis but it's because they didn't cook it themselves ?. Haggis and the swede mash was luke warm though. Let down because of the price range.

What a fantastic venue for enjoying a whiskey and good food.We cannot speak more highly about the menu, cosy interior, location and most importantly, incredible service. The staff were so accommodating - efficient in service and going the extra mile for all their customers. They were wonderfully accommodating for a baby and even went so far as to escorting us to the washrooms to help lay the change table out for us. Nothing was too small. Their staff were all so friendly and helpful and the drinks were magical.Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

The food and service were good. The desserts are the best! It's what you would expect for a little pub. It was super loud and the table next to us were discussing how hot women were in different countries (not the resteraunt fault, but the tables were so close we could hear it)

Our server Mick was very knowledgeable and helpful and made the experience quite enjoyable.

Had the mac and cheese and the charcuterie board. The charcuterie was delightful and the mac and cheese was decent, but I thought they were a bit pricey for what you get. 16 pounds each.

During our visit to the Whiski Rooms in Edinburgh, we had the pleasure of tasting a variety of dishes that satisfied our palates. The venison was exquisite, perfectly cooked and full of authentic flavours. Even the salmon was no exception, presented with a freshness and preparation that enhanced its delicate taste. The pulled lamb shoulder, however, fell short of expectations. Although the quality was unquestionable, the dish did not shine like the others, leaving a “so-so” impression compared to the rest of the menu. But the real star of the evening was the whiskey tasting. An excellent selection that allowed us to explore the richness and variety of this distillate, symbol of Scotland. Each sip was a journey through the different producing regions, with different aromatic notes. In conclusion, the Whiskey Room offers an overall very positive dining experience, with some small flaws that are easily forgivable thanks to the superb selection of whiskies. A place that I recommend to lovers of good food and, above all, to whiskey enthusiasts.

I give a 1 for the service because when the waiter brought the whiskey to me and my partner he completely ignored me, explaining only to him what we were drinking. Zero respect for women. For the rest, excellent whisky

The food was good. Everything we took was a local Scottish food option and we liked the food overall. It is a nice place to dine-in. We were walking and decided to eat here seeing the vibe and the food menu options placed outside. Later only realized this seemed to be a chain of restaurants. Guinness here tastes nice when I compare it to what we get in the USA. Rightly said fresh brews are different. Never miss to try local drafts when you are in England. Overall good dine-in experience and staff was nice too. Do note it is expensive and our cheque was almost 80 GBP.

Popped in out of the rain for a pint. Nice enough.

Great place for food and drinks. Mick introduced me to the world of whisky. One of the highlights of my journey in Scotland.
