Food is okay. We waited 10 minutes to get seated when there was no queue . After we placed the order, none of our foods or drinks had come after 20 minutes. Apparently the lady hadn’t even placed our order in the system after we told her what we wanted.

Disgraceful to call themselves Japanese food ! Very poor quality food! Shut it down for good! Running a Micky Mouse restaurant extremely unprofessional !

Grim. The restaurant itself was absolutely filthy, with food sprayed up the wall and left on the sides. There was no soap in half the toilets and the shelves in them looked close to falling off. They had ran out of half the food we’d tried to order which we were still charged for even though we didn’t get it! They gave us the bill after we had paid as well so we didn’t realise until later.

I always love coming back here. The food is always top tier.

We hadn't been to this branch for a few years and it's gone downhill. The staff were excellent and this is not a bad review of them as they were welcoming , super polite and very quick. But the actual building and fittings were really run down. The seating looks ancient and everything needs updating. The choice of dishes on the belts was extremely poor and some of the things we ordered were reheated . Just disappointing and unsatisfactory to be honest.

I did a sushi-making class with head chef Michael. He was a very good teacher and the whole experience was great. Good food and good people.

The carousel doesn’t always have a great selection, especially during busy periods but it’s nice

We went up through the elevator. Waited at the entrance for someone to seat us. Noone came so we sat on a table. Then waited more for someone to attend us. Then we called a waitress to give us the menu and She made us got up saying there is waiting at the main entrance. I told her I have taken my coat and very comfortable And would prefer not to get up. She said no, saying there is a waiting, I asked her how much time, she said she doesn't know, we have to go back to the main entrance. We got up dressed again, went back to the main entrance, only to find there was no waiting. There was absolutely no one waiting. She was immensely rude and this was completely unnecessary. Pathetic experience !!

We had a child who has a sesame allergy. It was a task to find what was generally allergen-free. We asked staff and was told that pretty much everything would be contaminated. The website has more information, but it was very hard to read and detracted from an enjoyable dining experience. I was also shocked at the cost of the tiny plates. I know sushi is not an inexpensive dish, but this was very expensive.

Firstly we had to wait 10 mins to be seated even though the restaurant was empty. We went in to order the 3 dishes for £9.95 option. After struggling trying to do it ourselves without being able to look at the offer menu for 10 min we eventually asked for help. The waiter said you couldn’t do it online and gave us a menu and took the order. Lots of things were sold out and another item that were we told was available got cancelled mid meal . The food was tasty and hot and good value. The waiter was a really nice guy but not on the ball. The restaurant used to be lovely . Now it’s tired with damp patches and peeling paint on the walls. The tables and belt all looked grubby too. I imagine it will shut down in 2024.

First solo dining experience in Yo! but it really doesn't matter a dot if you're on your own it's designed for it and I have to say it was amazing not having to consider anyone else when I was looking at the menu ? the new dumplings are amazing, kimchi salad was delicious, all washed down with unlimited miso. Great views of the gallery and princes street if you bag a window seat and there were plenty of spaces. Top choice. Blue light and student discount accepted.Parking: City centre so no car parking available for Yo!Wheelchair accessibility: It's all upstairs and the escalator was out of order and I didn't see an elevator so I don't think it's that accessible but I might be wrong

Went here for an early dinner a few days ago for the first time and it was surprisingly good! I had some veggie maki sushi and gyzoas while my partner had kastu curry and Korean chicken bites. It was all very much a hit! Although I will say that it’s a bit expensive for what you get, especially the drinks! We will be back tho :)
