Fantastic pub with the most friendly and accommodating staff. We were on a hen party and they could not do enough for us. They have a fantastic private dining room and the food was superb. We had our heart set on the Mac & cheese and it wasnt on the menu when we got there but they still went above & beyond and cooked it for us!! Thanks for a great day, can't wait to come back with my family x

Four adults on a Saturday night made reservation for evening meal. Both pub and restaurant were very busy on arrival, but we were seated promptly with a friendly greeting. Large choice on menu for all tastes with good Scottish fare all across the selections. Menu can be a bit confusing with all the different sections named after golfing terms, but all four of us managed to find starters and main courses that we were going for. Overall, excellent meal, service and very reasonable priced. We are local so will be visiting again!

Nice place located on a scenic area. Watch out if ordered steak as no price on menu, paid £30 for a sirloin I would say was not worth the money. Food was good and staff helpful.

So four of us for lunch today plus our dog. Two fish & chips, one steak pie and one half kilo ribs. Two white wines, two gin and tonics, one pint and two fizzy waters. Total bill including tip £110. Fish and chips and steak pie where all very good. The challenge was the ribs as it was almost impossible to eat them. Firstly they filled the plate as they were very large bones, so no room to work as I discovered when my handful of chips and onion ring went onto the table! I did ask for a steak knife but even that could not separate the ribs. I gave up after a few ribs. Usually good ribs can be separated with your figures. The only way you are eating these ribs is if the chef chops them Up prior to leaving the kitchen. They were tasty with a nice BBQ sauce. Anyway eventually I gave up and eat the small portion of chips, one onion ring and half corn on cob. Also the serving staff did not provide napkins until asked and there were no wipes , very messy. I did give feedback and with hindsight I should have sent it back at the start. However afterwards no apology given or offer of removing from bill anything. Anyway next time I will have the fish. I do suggest the owner or manager tries eating them to see if they agree with my feedback.

I booked the 19th Hole for a family get together there was 17 of us. We had previously booked in Anstruther in previous years so this was the first time most of the group had eaten in the 19th Hole so I was hoping the all liked it. The whole group were delighted with the venue especially as we had or own wee private room, which they all loved. The way the tables were set out was great, a large square so we could all talk to one another. The staff were so friendly from the minute we walked through the door. We had pre-book, which was a great idea. The food was delicious everyone cleared there plates. There were two small children in the group and the staff were brilliant with them. I would highly recommend the 19th Hole and we will be booking them for our family gathering next year. Thank you so so much xVegetarian options: Vegetarian options were availableKid-friendliness: Fantastic with children and the children enjoyed there meal also

Asked for a salad and they made it for me. It was delicious

Food and service were perfect - only criticism would be that the tables were a bit close together which made getting in and out difficult, also noise levels quite high

The 19th is a great little bar with a separate dining space and some tables in the bar. We'd booked ahead and had a lovely big table at the window. Coincidentally we all had the same dinner choices - mozarella & tomato starter followed by panko-crumbed fish'n'chips - all delicious ! We sampled a beer or two, enjoyed some wine and coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. The team looking after us are great fun & sorted wheelchair entry/access for me.

What a gem the 19th Hole is. We booked a table which we were pleased we did as this place is popular even on a Wednesday evening. The food was delicious- home made, my elderly mum was pleased that they offer small portions. The desert special was Banoffee cheesecake which was delicious. The staff are very friendly and we would certainly be returning next time we are in the area.

Can’t rave enough about this brilliant pub. The food is amazing! The staff are so helpful and can’t do enough for you. They even offered to cook a little meal for my dog when they overheard I’d forgotten to bring my dogs food along. He got a mini roast dinner. Amazing! I’m sorry to say I don’t know everyone’s names there yet but will def get to know them as we will be back. Everyone of the staff are brilliant and the food is fabulous. You must go if in Elie.

Arrived for a drink but decided to stay for lunch. A table was found for us and quickly cleared and cleaned. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient and the food lovely.

Very pleasant staff and the five persons in our group very much enjoyed our reasonably priced meal.
