Enjoyed a delicious gluten and dairy free spicy chicken burger. Muggle husband enjoyed his mushroom soup with a ham, cheese and onion toastie. Very helpful staff trained in allergens. Highly recommend.

Service was excellent and the atmosphere is very nice. The food is ok but I would say woow.Yet I would still come again and try other items.Their Halloween drink menu is funny and worth a try too.The dessert ordered was the ginger pudding and it is to die for ?

I had a really great meal, I have allergies and intolerance. I always worry a bit about what I am going to be able to eat. They put my mind at rest, made a note of what causes a problem, spoke to chef and with a few tweaks I had a lovely meal.

Visiting Eyemouth area and dined here twice. We tried several menu options - all good! Really helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend.

We went for dinner and checked for gluten free options which were marked on menu. Friend ordered GF lemon and rosemary chicken. Waitress checked if gluten free or Coeliac and advised chips were not GF but they could do roast potatoes. However, the following day friend was glutened, most likely cross contamination. I had carbonara which was good although quite oily. Having said all that, staff were friendly, decor good and great location. Shame food wasn't up to scratch and despite seeming knowledgeable about Coeliac think more could be done.

Visited whilst on holiday in Eyemouth. Sat upstairs, friendly staff. Ordered pizzas which were good. Coleslaw was disappointing at £2.50 as it wasn't homemade but shop bought! Had a lovely outside terrace.

We’ve spent last weekend on the East Coast to celebrate my husband’s birthday and the weather was so great on Sunday that we arrived back from the beach later than planned but still hoped to go out for a birthday meal. A quick google search suggested Oblo in Eyemouth, it had good ratings and the photos looked great so my husband phoned to book a table for 7:30pm. The girl on the phone was lovely and she informed us that kitchen closes at 7:30 so if we could please make it in before then, which we managed to do. A very friendly waiter greeted us and showed us to a lovely table in the corner behind the bar, great ambience surrounded by shelves packed with lovely pantry goods you can also buy. We got the menus, were offered tap water for the table (that came in a lovely glass bottle) and a few minutes later he took our drinks order while having a wee banter with the kids. Drinks arrived in a blink and he kindly gave us amother few minutes to choose the food. We ordered calzones for the adults, kids pizza and mac and cheese for the kids. The food took no time at all to arrive and it was the best calzone I have ever had. My daughter practically inhaled the mac and cheese and gave it 10 stars. She’s a bit of an expert when it comes to rating mac and cheese! The kids pizza was just as good judging by how quickly it disappeared! We even had some mocktails (virgin pina coladas) which were gorgeously presented and delicious and the kids had room for a scoop of Giacopazzi’s lovely local ice cream. Our waiter kindly offered to take a wee family photo for us too. He’s been really nice throughout having a wee chat and a laugh with us every time he came to the table, without being intrusive. All the other staff members were really lovely too, the atmosphere was great and you could tell by the staff’s general demeanour that they actually enjoy their work and like each other, it was such a nice change from many places I’ve been to recently, to see that the customer isn’t a chore, the staff isn’t clock watching, they know how to do their job well and they make you feel genuinely welcome. To sum it up: excellent service, exceptional food, great atmosphere. Highly recommend this gem of a place and we will be back every time we visit the area! Thank you for a lovely dining experience!

We visited as a family and immediately noticed the place was swarming with midges inside. My husband and daughter have an allergic reaction to bites so we nearly left. To say the meal wasn’t relaxed was an understatement. The food was OK, there was nothing wrong with it but we were just a bit underwhelmed. It is in a harbour, we expected the best seafood and it was very average. Stuff I could have easily got from my supermarket at home.

We ordered four 'small plates' and a side of proper chips, which made a good lunch for two. Paprika-marinated herring -- the best fancy roll-mops we've ever had: succulent, just sweet enough, tasty, and thoroughly moreish. Crayfish: dressed just right with mayonnaise and dill pickles, and likewise thoroughly moreish. Haddock & black pudding fishcakes: an idea I'll copy, though I fancy a touch more piquancy, perhaps. Hot-smoked salmon: toothache, and very nicely dressed. And the chips we're decent ones, too. :-) Helpful service and nice ambience, too: clean modern décor, not overbearing. Pleasant first-floor location by the harbour, and there's an icecream parlour next door that's part of the same set-up. Great place to eat if you're in the area, and worth heading a couple of miles off the A1 if you're en route and peckish.

We enjoyed a wonderful seafood dinner at Oblo this evening. Everything about the venue was excellent. Customer service. ambience and importantly the quality of the food and service. Thank you to the Team

It was a limited menu the night we went, only pizza, so I can't speak for the full menu. The thin-crust pizzas were just acceptable, like a frozen pizza you could bake at home. The crust had no stretch to it. The service was excellent (fast and attentive) but that couldn't make up for the food. There were also quite a few flies and fruit flies inside that bothered us the entire time.Vegetarian options: There's a plain margherita and a white pizza with spinach and pistachiosWheelchair accessibility: A flight of stairs will make this place not accessible if eating indoors. I think on the weekend they may use the downstairs tables outside as well, but those weren't being serviced when we cameDietary restrictions: All pizzas can be made with a gluten free crust for an extra fee. They were able to remove the peppers for us, so I think you can also make adjustments to the given menu if needed

Fantastic meal. Fresh, excellent flavours and brilliant value for money, however the best thing by a clear mile was the staff. Friendly, full of good humour and enthusiasm.Well done to all!

This is the first time I've ever been out for a meal and left feeling totally dissatisfied. The food was tasteless if I'd been blind folded I could not have said what I was eating the food was bland, tasteless and quite honestly looked like it came out of a box. I wish I'd actually been honest enough to say whilst in the restaurant. We were in and out within 40 minutes which really sums it up.
