Fantastic little cafe. So glad we found it!

I have visited this place many times before and have always enjoyed it. However, last week my partner and I visited and, as normal, waited to be shown to a table. A foreign female came across and immediately escorted us to a table in the back room. I requested a seat at a table in the front room where the kitchen area is. There were five tables vacant. I was told these tables were "for dogs". I was slightly taken aback and questioned her as II thought I had misheard her. These tables are for "people with dogs" was her reply. The room where she escorted us to was full and, as a result, very noisy. We left without ordering anything. We have no objection to responsible adults bringing their dogs to this establishment but to reserve seats especially for people with dogs seems very odd to me - especially in this nicer room. We were very disappointed by the server's attitude and think this should be addressed.

Just had fantastic food and exemplary customer service from Johnny and the girls. He went out his way to bring the table from outside(starred to rain) indoors and quickly got the 4 of us served really quickly. Even although the cafe was very busy with a queue waiting, the staff were hard working, efficient and very friendly.Dietary restrictions: One of our group is Gluten Free and was served a delicious Gluten Free Toastie.

I’ve been to Dollar Park about a hundred times and never went into the Cafe, but after hearing about their cakes and tray bakes, it was added to the list to check out. And I’m glad I did, cause this place is a little gem! Great selection of all the usual suspects, from sandwiches to toasties, soup, hot rolls, full cooked breakfasts, pancakes, hot drinks and cakes. There’s also a specials board that changes regularly. For todays visit we tried some hot rolls (Bacon & Lorne Sausage) plus the Haggis, Cheese and Chilli Jam Toastie. All of which were top-class! Great quality ingredients and cooked perfectly! Finished it off by trying some of their home baking and WOW, great selection and all done to a very high standard. We went with the Bakewell Slice, Apple Turnover Cake, and a tub of Chocolate Ice-Cream. Would return for these alone, they were that good! VERY reasonably priced, too! If you haven’t checked this place out, then definitely give it a look. There’s also some tables outside if the weather is good enough, and the surrounding gardens opposite the Cafe are great for a short walk.

My favourite food find during my Falkirk stay. So much so I had brunch here every day. Caters well for coeliacs, good gluten free sweet and savory options. Served by super friendly staff in lovely surroundings ?Do visit the beautiful, tranquil walled garden.

I've visited this cafe a number of times, and always recommend it to others. The food and drinks are of a high quality, and the cakes are amazing. The cafe has a loyalty card scheme where you collect a stamp for purchasing a drink. You can then either receive a free drink, or pay it forward to donate to someone in need. Very caring!Parking: Parking in Dollar Park
