Bar • “First time in this pub, where we were welcomed by bar lady. Premises were decorated with Halloween regalia. No loud music. Altogether a nice pleasant pub experience. No food taken.”
Bar • “Great Wetherspoon and another unique carpet. No chips when we visited as vegetable fryer was broken. However, that didn't matter as I ordered a curry! Everyone else had to have mash or jacket potato instead! Drinks were sound!”

David and the staff are super friendly and attentive, and the food is always freshly cooked and piping hot.Only taken away 1 star for the fact that it's summer and the fruit flies are put in abundance, which took away from the open door policy.Overall, I would recommend for a night out.”

“Went for lunch , been years since I've been here, collegue from work recommended going wasn't disappointed.I had chilli nachos for starter , my friend had soup , massive portion , main I had Braveheart burger , my eyes were bigger than my belly could not eat it all again massive portion , my friend had half portion steak pie , could not fault anything was warm and delicious.Staff very friendly and attentive .Would definitely recommend and will 100% be back.”
