Terrible service by terrible people who can not be bothered doing their job that they are paid to do. Primarily old people working here who in theory should be kind people but are totally the opposite. Would recommend going to a food bank than coming in here.

Square sausage under cooked and I mean undercooked, egg rubby like it had been sitting awhile. Even the bacon was undercooked. Coffee machine had issues with it and the lady just pressed the alert icon and say nothing wrong but everyone was having issues with it. Even the lady who sure our food looked extremely fed up and not very friendly. Sorry but definitely will not be back, can't serve food raw.

Weekly visit before I do my weekly shopping. I always get my breakfast there. A good selection of breakfast to choose from. Service either at the till or the machine. Sometimes a long wait as the use minimal staff and they need to get a new toaster as I asked for toast and got warm

Went here for breakfast, and it really didn't go too smoothly, and the food wasn't that great either. Me and my partner got a full breakfast. With a glass of milk and a tea. We made an order on the machine not having been before we made the mistake of thinking they would bring the drinks. well all they brought were the breakfasts with absolutely freezing cold eggs. Bacon was like leather, lorne looked steamed and was soggy like this was the case. Best bit of the breakfast was the toast. There was 1 woman doing tables run off her feet with no1 else to ask about the drinks. So I get up to go get her she tells me I can make my own tea over at the station and she will bring the milk. They really need to figure out is it self service or table service or have the machine tell people to grab their own drinks. Never had a drink for most of the breakfast.

Ordered an all day breakfast and coffee on the touch screen and waited, and waited and waited in total about 40minutes. During this time my wife enquired twice where my food was really got little help. When it eventually came I went to get my coffee and cutlery. Surprise surprise no forks, no coffee cups and coffee machine needed emptied. Breakfast was warm but not hot, my tatties scones were like carpet tiles and when I separated them I found 2 crispy chips in-between. Obviously all done in the same deep fat fryer. Wife was already in the store doing the shopping by the time I finished. All in all in was once a great little cafe but has seriously gone downhill.

What a disaster this place has become. What happened? Ordering at til. Family in front was stuck for 10 mins while lady on till tried to find the items they had ordered. We ordered. Ahe couldn't find the little yoghurt during my boy had chosen and I eventually told her not to bother. Was supposed to be kids eat for free but at table I realised I had been charged. Couldn't be bothered waiting forever to sort that so left it. Took about 45 minutes for the (not great) food to arrive. Chips appeared to have been cooked in very dirty oil. Poor family who ordered in front of us were still waiting when we were leaving - and looked thoroughly fed up. Long story short - just don't bother going here. Life is too short to waste so much time for such poor service and food. While we were eating a posse of deliveroo type guys gathered and surrounded our unfortunately chosen table. Not exactly a pleasant experience.

Even though the cafe was not busy with customers, there was a long wait for our food, and mine looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. There was a skin on the mashed potato. It seemed like the staff assumed we knew where everything was, drinks and cutlery, which we didn't, so I'm not inclined to go there again. The surroundings have been changed, and that is very nice, but otherwise, no thank you.

Cheap n cheerful, decent menus considering it's a supermarket cafe.

Place is shocking, the staff don't care about the place or the food.. portion sizes are never consistent, can't even make scrambled eggs on toast.. food contaminated by food from another person's meal.. won't be back ?

There is now reduced & overworked staff at what used to be an excellent cafe & the touch screen menu is suffering from an electronic glitch so I ordered my coffee & roll at the till but you have to choose a table 1st & it was all downhill from thereon which resulted in a cold bacon roll & no coffee, the cutlery was dirty as was the table, Ken Morrison must be turning in his grave as the new American owners have wrecked his creation.

Sausage was uncooked, items were missing and bacon wasn't cooked properly. Very disappointed ? ? ?

Hadn’t been here in a while so thought I would go in for a late breakfast with my mum, ordered at the order point and took a seat, went to get our drinks from the self service drinks, both drinks had no fizz and completely flat, went to buy another drink and told the woman on the till about the machine she said I can only apologise then charged us again for replacement didn’t look like she cared at all. waited a while on our food, wish I could say it was worth the wait, I ordered boiled egg and toast expecting it to be runny egg like in the photo, eggs were hard and very over cooked, my mum ordered poached egg and toast, again eggs were hard. While we were in about 4 teenagers on school lunch sat at a table to eat lunch which had been bought at one of the counters in the shop, the same woman was very rude to them telling them they couldn’t sit there, they offered to buy something from the cafe to sit down and they were told quite rudely to go outside, even when one of the boys went to put rubbish in the bin he was told to get out and put it in an outside bin!! She then started walking about the cafe speaking to other customers about this. I feel that teenagers get a bad name but these boys were not once rude and didn’t deserve the way they were spoken to. Awful service, awful staff and overcooked food. We will find another place to go for breakfast next time
