Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. I had avocado ? with two poached eggs on soda bread and chilli jam. The eggs were cooked to perfection the whole ensemble was tasty and yummy. The staff are excellent, the welcome sincere and professional. No hesitation in recommending The Allotment. I have had many visits and tasted several meals from menu and look forward to many more yummy visits. Thanks to all staff you are. Brilliant.

We've been here a couple of times now, and the food has been fantastic. I highly recommend the soup for a lunch, today's lentil soup was literally perfect in every way. The veggie burgers are also really good, very reasonably priced, service is also good, would absolutely recommend! :)Vegetarian options: Fantastic vegetarian options. Both me and my partner are vegetarian with different preferences, and we can both find enough options to choose from :)

It was a lovely lunch and staff were rushed off there feet but still professional.unfortunately our visit was ruined by a live singer, far too loud , off tune and basically rubbish.If he is playing there again avoid eating here or Costa and go elsewhere.
I used to be a huge ambassador for the allotment Cafe but sadly it's become a victim of its own success. The live music on a Saturday might be a welcomed addition but it just means it's very busy and the small kitchen simply cannot cope. Twice now we have been on a busy Saturday and waited offer 30 minutes for our order to be taken followed by a further 30 minutes wait for food. Sadly now I'll not be returning if it looks busy.
