Why is this place 15 miles from where we're staying? We would be in everyday buying and eating this wonderful food. Wish we had the Bakehouse in Northumberland

We pre-ordered pizzas for dinner and enjoyed them so much that we came back for breakfast rolls the next day. Delighted to see so many veggie options on the menu!

By far one of the best shops in the area. High quality goods, an incredible variety and super delicious baked goods, fruit and veg. And amazing pizzas on Friday and Saturday with unique toppings, as in more true to the Italian style compared to boring basic standard toppings offered elsewhere. A beautiful wee shop that brings a much needed high standard to the area which other establishments in the area should take note and learn from. The staff and friendly and kind, and work unbelievably hard. I absolutely love The Bakehouse.

The best takeaway lunch I have had in a longtime. The dhall was delicious as was the flat bread. The spanakopita was amazing and the coffee was the best. Worth a detour.

I have a disability and was driving from Inverness to Findhorn - needed to stop for a drink so i could take my medication and popped into this shop/Cafe to order some food and a drink. I walked in aided by my small dog and this Elderly woman came up to me - from nowhere and in an abrupt manner told me " no dogs allowed " and started staring at me as i left the Shop. She could see my disability and didn't take this into consideration - on the contary she was very inconsiderate and treated me poorly. She failed to ask me if i was okay or needed anything and was more concerned about my small dog getting out of her shop. I definitely would not recommend anyone who has a disability or a service dog using this shop. Its self evident that they don't cater towards people who have a disability and they're clearly anti dogs. This surprised me as Findhorn is a dog friendly place. Unfriendly Service and Poor Customer Service by this Woman. This is my reason for 1 star

Lovely cakes. Got there just in time before closing.

I used to know this bakery from about six years ago, and though indoor seating is no longer available, the transformation into a fantastic food shop with local and organic products is remarkable. The drinks and pastries are excellent, especially the breakfast sandwich with vegetarian haggis. Highly recommended!

Be aware that the photo attached to this place is out of date. The sit in cafe doesn’t exist and has been changed to an upmarket deli with the option of some take out food….cakes, homemade quiche (£3.50 per SLICE!!!), etc and, on Friday & Saturday evenings (5 -7pm) take out pizza. Which I sampled this evening. Sadly, I will not revisit for pizza (the deli is good though, if expensive). The pizza (a Veneziana)) was only slightly above warm, the base was tough and very chewy and the toppings were actually pretty tasteless. Overall underwhelming and disappointing. Should have stuck with The Captain’s Table’s pizza but I fancied a change/something new whilst still keeping it local ?.

Lovely cakes & biscuits we bought to enjoy later are delicious. Other food looked good, fresh produce in shop looked good quality.

I work in this amazing place but prior to that it was my favourite place to buy organic fruit and veg and all sorts of other delights. Food for the soul! Reminds me of how shops were when I was wee, before the supermarkets took over...... The coffee is superb, the cakes and pudding are so tasty! The folks that work there are lovely..... I could go on...... Definately worth a visit !

Fabulous food! Absolutely delicious dhaal & garlic flatbread, followed by an exceptional cake. Highly recommend (tho we were glad it wasn’t raining, seeing as seats were outside).
