Been there some weeks ago. Excellent service, very friendly and very good food. Can definitely recommend the salmon!

We had a great time here, originally coming here for food and drinks at Hogmanay, before deciding to return the following night for food again.Scott and the rest of the team were very welcoming, and could not have done any more to accommodate us, despite them being exceptionally busy both nights. We will definitely be back.

Nice cozy bar and restaurant. Starter size meals were impressive quality. Beers mediocre. Service wanting.

I would recommend this place if you are travelling through Fort William. The food was decent but some parts of our food were over cooked, but that tends to happen sometimes. We were standing at the entrance for quite a while before any of the staff members came to seat us, we didn't really know what to do other than wait.If you get a window seat the view is amazing and the interior of the restaurant is very warm and nice too.

I wish I was fatter! I loved every bite of my haggis neeps and tatties and venison burger. The seafood chowder was a dream I wish I could do back home.Lovely staff, beers great.I wanted proper Scottish food and I got it!Only gave it four stars for service because if busy can be a tad slow but who care in the grand scheme of life.We will be coming back when we book our next holiday to Scotland.

Edit:returned two nights ago for lunch and service was very friendly and helpful. Really good food as always and not as noisy - returning tonight for dinner.Edit for clarification:10% optional fee added to your order, which is off-putting as I feel this pressures vulnerable and anxious people into tipping, though the staff and food is deserving of 10% if not more.First visit: Food is served until 9:00 pm during the week day, 9:30 pm on the weekend.I had steak and fresh peppercorn with house chips. The steak was cooked perfectly - by default comes medium rare. Chips are fried fresh and have a good crunch. The desserts look great and taste wonderful.Parking: Paid parking is 5 minutes walk away, street parking available outside of venue later in the evening.

Went in for a pint and lunch. Took the Steak pie which was very nice and well prepared. Very nice view over Loch Linnhe.Fair prices for lunch as well!

I'd start off by saying I'd certainly come back for drinks. This is a nice pub, it's clean and the staff were very friendly when we visited back in September. We went in once for drinks and once more for food and drink. The food was a bit on the beige side, the fish and chips were acceptable enough but my partner couldn't eat the chicken "panini" (baguette, as the picture shows). Got a few bits of bone in that and didn't enjoy the taste at all, unfortunately. The beer was lovely though, really well kept.

Had a wonderful fish and chips at this restaurant. Fish was done just perfect. The batter was a little bit greasy so when coming here would recommend getting the gluten free fish and chips. The staff are really attentive and friendly and will help you out with whatever quieres you may have about the food and Fort William too. Would recommend

Very disappointing experience. Staff ignored us at the entrance where we waiting to be seated and it took a woman at the bar to tell the staff to serve us. We ordered two steak pies (one with mash and one with chips). The content of the pie had differing temperatures so was seemingly microwaved, the mash looked and felt like plasticine and was as if it had been sitting like that under a hot plate for 30 minutes before being served to me. The pastry was ridiculous flakey with not much flavour or substance to it. I immediately asked for chips instead of the mash as I couldn’t bring myself to go near it, but by the time the chips arrived I had finished my pie and did not feel like eating much so these were wasted when they eventually arrived. I’m not often disappointed when it comes to eating out, but today was definitely one of those times.Since posting this review the managers contacted me and offered a sincere apology and full refund which was very much appreciated.

Centrally located restaurant bar.Good service.Nice atmosphere and views.Had to mark down on food as portion of Cullen Skink soup was very small and had very little haddock in there.Only 1 small butter given for 2 pieces of bread.Menu stated crispy bread, it was not.For £9.99 for the soup, I expected better, it did however taste good.Fish and chips looked great. If I went again, I'd try that. Looked like a good size portion to.

Modern gastro pub that also has a drinks only side to the building too. There is an outdoor deck that is open till 10pm which is perfect on a nice day. No screens for sport. Dog friendly which the outdoor deck is suitable for.

When we arrived there were no tables. We were advised to get a drink & a table would be a boon 45 mins. With in 10 we were seated. Food was excellent quality and good service.

Never usually do a bad review as you can see from my history but this prompts one.e Please wait to be seated sign - nobody ever comes, ever. So I went to the bar to ask, server says yeah sot anywhere i'll bring a menu, never came, had to ask. Then one of the waiters became really quite rude and aggressive to anyone who did similar or even ones that waited at the sign. Seemed to truly despise all customers. There is no bar service yet the staff all seem to make a concerted effort to ignore literally anyone that tries to get their attention no matter how politely. Food was very average and the pie was, well, a lie. It was a rubbish stew with an overdone blob of pastry on the side?! The only redeeming thing was, a waitress that had just come on shift gave me the bill and pointed out the service charge and made it very clear it was optional. I opted for it to be removed, food was pricey enough without paying for the waste of time. Sorry but this place meeds a serious overhaul of layout, staffing and practices.
