Staff moaned at me for eating chicken from the hot counter in the shop, apparently I've contaminated the cafe with allergens from the shop. I would be more understanding if the place wasn't absolutely filthy, tables sticky and covered in crumbs, rubbish all over the floor, I think allergens from the hot counter and the least of the worries there.

I seen a review from someone complaining they had come to Scotland but couldn't get an english breakfast from here. ? Sorry to break it to you, but you're in another country - Scotland, and here you will get a Scottish breakfast. ? Food was nice, staff advised that there was a short wait ( I arrived at lunchtime when you'd expect a small wait). Last time I was at the cafe was 6 years ago and now just as good. Good value for a small Scottish breakfast too £4.50 for a slice of lorne, bacon, egg, tomato, 2 slice of toast, butter, beans and a choice of sauces. Will definitely be back again.

Went in today with my wife for a roll and sausage and a mini breakfast and all I can say is the sausage was poorly cooked and probably still had a pulse the egg was still clucking at us and the bacon was still oinking basically all under cooked would not

Almost the same price as all you can eat at brewer's fayre,cheap ingredients used, cutlery was dirty . It was a cold day and it was freezing inside the cafe ,had to keep your coat on. Go anywhere else but here.

Got dirty looks because I complained about disgusting state of the mugs used for teas and coffee ?? not using cleaning fluid/ tabs nor hot water. They went in for another clean and came out the same with bits of food and stains.

Breakfast was disgusting, ordered two ultimate breakfasts, when arrived no tomatoes, no mushrooms and when enquired was told they did not have any the rest of the food was deep fried and hard. On leaving noticed that used tables had left over half the food. We paid full price for an order that was not available, about twenty pound, do yourself a favour and go over to the Brewers Faye over the road for the same price it’s excellent.

Restaurant under staffed staff unhelpfull one person behind the counter was on her phone unacceptable whilst I waited restaurant was dirty no cutlery out breakfast was good I had to clean the table before I ate my meal the floor was disgusting used to be good, manager manage get the standards back

It had wild birds in the cafe flying around and there was bird poo all over the walls! I’ve never seen anything like it! Hash brown was served frozen and the toast had a really strange substance stuck to the back of it, which was not off the breakfast. It made me feel physically sick. Left without eating the breakfast and I can’t stress enough, DO NOT GO!

Rubbish experience! Coffee machine not working and only cutlery were a few knives. Had to eat scampi and chips with our fingers even though we asked 2 different staff for forks who told us they would bring them in ‘a wee while’, still no forks after we’d finished and walked out! Mediocre food (had to leave the peas as couldn’t pick them up with our fingers.lol). Lots of dirty plates covering many of the tables Absolute shoddy service C’mon Morrisons you can surely do better than that!!!!!

Great local supermarket with lots of food options. Popped in for a sandwich before driving to Carlisle. Good choice at a reasonable price.
