I don't think I had ever been in a Wimpy before, so it's intriguing on a visit to Fraserburgh that there's still one in the town, one of only 3 left in Scotland. The food was better and fresher compared to McDonald's.

Something pretty different to any other takeaway, classic diner

We travelled from Aberdeen, just to try Wimpy!I remember seeing the brand as a child and - any time I mention Wimpy - people's faces light up, speaking highly of their experience. Our food was freshly prepared, served at the right temperature, all with good service from the waitress and chef.We would happily come back, to try other options we didn't have space for this time around!

A very nice well cooked burger in a tasty bun, served by a lovely polite young lady, WITH cutlery as it used to be. But - terribly disappointed that there is no longer the famous Wimpy cheese sauce on the burgers. That's what made it a Wimpy.

Ordered a Wimpy Grill, cheeseburger and coke float. Delicious. Friendly service. It was quiet. Always wanted to visit. Only few remaining restaurants in Scotland. Will definitely be back.

Two of us had burgers, one had chicken, two of us were fighting for the toilet for the next two days!! Burgers did appear a little on the raw side, obviously they were. Not a nice experience having been before with no issues. Won't be back now.

It's been 30 years since I last had a Wimpy so my visit was mainly for a nostalgic purpose. Food was good, pleasant service and took me back many years.

Forget about McDonald’s or Burger King - Wimpy is the best burger restaurant FULL STOP. Properly cooked (hot) food served on proper plates accompanied by proper cutlery, and drinks served in glasses rather than paper cups - what could be more environmentally friendly than that…?Friendly helpful staff and great food. Takeaway available too - o street parking and pay & display across the road. Can’t wait to visit again!
Lovely, friendly, pleasant staff nothing too much bother. Food was lovely and piping hot. Place was spotless

Food freshly cooked and very tasty. Very filling, which can never be said about McDonalds. I had the ‘Bender Burger’, which was just as good as I remember from 1991. Speaking of bygone eras, this restaurant doesn’t appear to have changed much since 1991. The original table and chairs are still in place and the decor looks pretty unchanged (though very clean). Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars, is that it’s expensive, but as a treat for good burgers and a trip down memory lane, it’s great.

Our visit was born out of Nostalgic Recollections.I wasn't disappointed, I ordered a 1/4lb burger meal and it's definitely the best fast food I've had in years. The burger was plump and Juicy the luttuce was fresh and crispy and the wholemeal bun was firm and held its shape, the fries were hot and crispy and all served on a plate. There are only 3 in Scotland and this was worth the near 200 mile journey to visitThe restaurant is nostalgically dated but spotlessly clean the staff were really attentive and friendly and for a Thursday afternoon it had about 20 customers. The people of Fraserburgh are really lucky to have this little gem and I hope Wimpy invest in its future but also retain the sense of what wimpy is.

This was definitely a blast from past!I haven't seen a wimpy in over 25 years, the foot was just as I remembered, freshly made and delicious.I hope this place is able to stay open, one of the last wimpys to found in the uk. If you get the chance, go support it by ordering some food.
