Despite this store being close to my house I hardly shop here as it’s so poor. I made the mistake of shopping here this week as it was open early only to find aisles full of boxes. Once negotiating my way round the assault course, you then find every checkout closed with the exception of self checkout which when you have a trolley full of shopping is utterly pointless with the tiny space provided to pack your goods. These loading shelves are also very low down and no thought has been given to the customer. I understand staff are tasked with other jobs but why was at least 1 manned checkpoint not open especially when several groups of staff were converged at end of aisles talking to each other. An awful experience again, it can’t be a coincidence and after reading other reviews it’s clearly not

One of the grubbiest supermarkets I have ever seen. It’s almost as if ASDA head office don’t even know the Bishopbriggs store exists. The staff cover the aisles in rubbish and just walk away leaving mess absolutely everywhere. I don’t know how the managers let this happen. every floor of every aisle is littered with cardboard and plastic packaging or the ever present spills from mystery items, and not one single staff member attempts to clean it up. It’s honestly embarrassing. It’s a supermarket of last resort

My I pad fell out of my car last night in Asda car park to which I was completely unaware. I phoned when I was back home and realised what must have happened. I got Trish from Security who must be one of the most helpful members of staff that I have met in any store! Not just Asda. I interrupted her tea break and without hesitation she went out into the cold, wet and dark to look for it. She eventually found it! Thank you so much Trish! You are a star! Asda, I hope you appreciate this fantastic member of your staff!

Easily one the worst kept supermarkets I’ve ever been to

This is the saddest Asda I have ever been to. There’s a spill in every aisle, about 15 leaks in the roof and I’m pretty sure one of the aisles is haunted. Pretty grim!

Unfortunately experienced a rude colleague on the checkouts today. Came across very condescending and belittling towards my elderly family member and made our shopping experience feel uncomfortable. I believe this colleague is known as Amanda. If you are so concerned about germs to the extent where it’s a problem for you to take a £20 note out of someone’s hand (even though you had gloves on) it’s maybe a good idea to consider a different job ;)

Like the store experience but their pricing on Uber eats is honestly horrific - I did a price check and they charged me £24.68 for food that would be £16.40 in the store, and it was a special offer that meant I was due to be charged £16.46 for it all with croissants but they didn’t have the stock they thought they did so it got cancelled and took me under the promo value, when asked by Uber driver said they refused to cancel the full order even though the situation was explained. Complaining to Uber eats but don’t expect much from them

Well laid out shop. Easy to find items. Plenty of free parking spaces. Two hole in the wall cashpoints on the outside wall.

Their 'subtle' many price increases supposed to be for 'inflation' were absurd and sheer profiteering by Asda. I wrote with the details to their new chairman Lord Rose - he of M&S fame - got a reply from a personal assistant on behalf of Lord Rose thanking me profusely for taking the time to write also saying "they would be reducing prices just as soon as they could"! Asda had increased the prices of their Heinz tinned soups from 90p per tin to £1.70 per tin!!!I wrote to CEO Heinz about this. They claimed they had no jurisdiction over customers prices. They said they were experiencing inflationary pressures and shortages of ingredients. I then wrote to them again and asked them specifically how much they had increased their price to to ASDA on their tinned soups .. NO REPLY! We the customers are being taken as fools by 'big businesses' .. and government ministers are believing them. Look out for the next Annual Accounts from ASDA & other Superstores to see their annual increased PROFITS!!!
