We came here for our Christmas dinner this year and it did not disappoint! We paid well in advance and ordered in advance also, we arrive a little early and they sat us straight away, the food came so quickly and the drink order was taking as soon as we arrived! The food was delicious and presented so well, the staff were lovely and friendly and obviously gave up their time to open on Xmas, overall was a lovely night and we 100% would book again next year

Had breakfast here. Very quiet when I was in. The breakfast food itself was really good. Arrived hot and freshly made. However I don’t expect to have to listen to staff bantering away, lots of swearing, moaning and even talking about the audits at the restaurant. They were so loud about it I couldn’t tune out. I’m no prude, but not what I need to hear first thing in morning. It made me feel awkward. I’d be mortified if my staff spoke about company matters in front of customers.

Would like to say thank you to the two young ladies at the beefeater. ...we are returning customers because the service and attention to our orders and needs while dining at this establishment are first class and the rest of the staff are brilliant also, nothing is a trouble to them ...the food is amazing and we highly recommend potential diners to attend for this first class experience ...you wont be disappointed
We go here often, the food is fantastic. We booked Xmas last year and this year. Incredibly friendly place, from the management, the chefs, bar staff and table staff. Joyce, Christine and Charlotte are all fab, as are all of the staff. However, Allison seems to be the team member who we are fortunate enough to have serve us most of the time. Very attentive without being intrusive. Always takes time to chat and nothing is too much trouble. It’s like meeting up with a friend, always makes you feel welcome and that’s she’s happy to see you. Can’t praise highly enough. You always see and hear Allison treating all visitors with the same courtesy that we’re shown. A real credit to the Black bear. Thank you for all the great times and see you soon ? ?????

Food rotten spent don't recommend service, staff nice. Salad put under the hot plate so was wilted and dries out, coleslaw was hot and lettuce was brown and off. Stay well

We have been here a number of time now and feel the food is always excellent. Charlotte greeted us and was very pleasant when showing us to our table. Charlotte was very good when told of my wifes alergies and checked all our food to make sure she would not be affected. The meal itself was excellent and cooked to our specifications(Steak medium rare) All in all it was a very good experience and will be back

Excellent all round, ample parking with good disabled spots. We had the £9.99 all you can eat deal which is superb value. We were served by the rather attractive Pauline who has a very nice personality and excellent customer skills. I am in a mobility scooter but this was handled with respect and dignity. Cannot recommend enough.
