I got a traditional fish and chips out of here and the fish was cooked perfectly and the chips weren’t too oily it was absolutely delicious.

Never ever has anything ready any time I visit, staff standing around laughing and joking then when I order they get me to pay, then tell me 10 minute wait on chips? Which cost over 10 quid for 2 portions of chips, how do you get business?

Random stop for lunch...place was busy, and only one person serving(new manager) but boy did she know what she was doing! Quick and polite service, came back to check everything was ok with meal, even though she was busy. Food was spot on! Will return ?

I have had a gluten free fish supper a few times this past few months and this is definitely the best in East Kilbride. The service, staff and food are excellent. I recommend this restaurant.

Had lunch today Cheryl was an amazing server very attentive and made sure we were happy with everything, food was amazing best chip shop I've eaten at since moving to eastkilbride, will definitely return ❤️ Ps. This was the smiles my little boy had for Cheryl who even took time to speak to him fab little place

Unhygienic practice all round. No hand washing whatsoever. The staff are touching food with their bare unwashed hands for no reason, like arranging sausages into a pyramid, when they should be using tongs. Disgusting practices and I would never eat here. Young asian man touching raw fish, then money, then back to serving chips without washing his hands. Older heavy set man touching everything in the hot cabinet with no hand washing at all. Do not eat here unless you want to get ill.
Great food, very generous portions and even better staff. Especially lovely, friendly and very helpful Kim. Thank you, we'll be back ASAP.
