My recent dinner at Cail Bruich was truly exceptional. From the outstanding food and impeccable service to the delightful atmosphere, every aspect of the experience exceeded my expectations. Without a doubt, Cail Bruich deserves a second Michelin star for their outstanding culinary mastery.

Cannot recommend highly enough. The food and drinks were exceptional and the service and atmosphere was special without a hint of snootiness. Can’t wait to go back!

I think a solid, honest 4* is accurate. Food is good but not ‘that’ good for price. Have been twice now.Enjoy the wine selection. What really lets it down from other fine dining competitors is the staffing. Staff aren’t as welcoming and friendly as you’d expect which dulls the experience.

Excellent lunch over 7 courses, with some surprising stars in some of the dishes. Completely recommended for any occasion.

27-02-2024 We recently attended Cail Bruich to celebrate my brother's 60th Birthday. Staff, food and service were all exceptional. It was a lovely touch to leave a birthday card for him on the table, and personalise a birthday message into his own menu. After the meal it was a privilege and a pleasure to be able to thank Michelin Star Head Chef Lorna McNee in person. In my brother's own words "Jim and Susan took me to a restaurant called Cail Bruich and it was quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever eaten. Every detail was Impeccable."

The ingredients were exceptional.Beautifully presented in both plating and ability to allow flavour to shine.Courses were correctly portioned to ensure a smooth tasting experience. The casual ambience is matched by the relaxed front of house staff. They read us well and we enjoyed our conversations with them.Highly recommended. It's obvious to see why the Michelin star hangs here.

Uma experiência completa, tudo perfeito. O jantar de 7 passou demorou 3 horas. Todos os pratos foram maravilhosos. Ingredientes frescos e deliciosos. O destaque dos pratos foi desde coisas simples como limão e cenoura, até outros como trufas frescas e foi gras. Meu aniversário foi comemorado em alto estilo. Voltaremos muito em breve.

It was my first time trying Cali Bruch , and all the dishes were amazing. I opted for the 7-course meal, and each dish surprised me with the best flavors. I left very satisfied.

I've been to many Michelin star restaurants ranging from 1 star to 3 star an I really mean it when I say that Lorna McNee and the Cail Bruich team have created an overall experience that is right up there with the best of them.Had a fabulous time as always.Thank you

You cant deny the standards on offer here. Everything is absolutely on point, so it has to be 5 stars. However for me theres a line to be drawn where the dining experience, no matter how special, becomes eclipsed by price.....especially an additional £50 service charge (for two people) which left me smarting somewhat.

We had a really wonderful experience at Cail Bruich. The staff was top notch and we enjoyed all of the food. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into every detail of this dining experience. The team was also incredibly accommodating when it came to modifying items for a food allergy.Hoping to be able to return the next time we’re in the country.

Fantastic 5 course lunch - lovely combination of crab, mushroom, monkfish, venison and lemon/honey - difficult to choose a favourite course as they were all so good. Great service and wine to accompany.

We went for the 5 course Taster Dinner….absolutely superb cooking going on here, way, way above Glasgow’s other similarly 1 Michelin - star rated restaurant, Unalome(which I didn’t enjoy for lunch at all.) The interior photo on TA is out of date as the place as he been revamped and much improved for ambience IMO.Very stylish but tables feel quite intimate, even though the space is so small(which actually put me off for a long time.) Open kitchen in the background with the Head Chef herself clearly at the helm. Amuse Bouche were just exquisite…Fife Carrot didn’t sound promising but was unctuous.Hen of the Woods, an intense, exceptional mushroom dish with top notch black truffle, was a wow.Monkfish lightly BBQ’d was a revelation.Sauces with dishes were generous and intense in flavour. Can’t stand places that are skimpy on sauces. Venison course was just ok…the meat was great but in this case, the sauce didn’t appeal to me. Dessert was very enjoyable but Michelin/fine dining places never hit top marks for desserts in my book - TOO refined. But overall, a superb experience with several really memorable courses. Husband’s wine flight - the cheapest version of 3 on offer - he enjoyed because he loves trying different or unusual wines but the actual quality of the wines , we both thought, wasn’t great; two were almost ‘watery’ yet they were coming in at £17 a (very small) glass. Bit of a disappointment and, to be honest, a bit of a rip off.I do wish wine in these places matched food quality. However, very pleasant, professional staff, very quick serving of each course.Would we go back? Definitely.
