Wasn’t sure upon entering at first. But my god it’s probably one of my favourite places now. Never had a problem with the bouncers, staff are lovely, and all round just a great atmosphere. Not sure on it as a gig venue cause I’ve not been to one yet, but that’s soon to

Bouncers on some mad power trip here, refused entry because "you've had too much to drink" when totally sober. I guess they didn't like the look of me and or the accent. Boo

A Glasgow institution. Great music, chilled atmosphere and friendly vibes all round.Been countless times and recently went to a gig there, be warned it's a 300 people gig venue and a bit of a sweatbox.......which I like! Ha ha

Great place for rock/emo music. Only place in Glasgow which plays Ghost 10/10

Wish i couldve enjoyed this place, and was looking forward to it. but door staff refused me after a 45 minute wait because of a few pre-rolled cigarettes that "because i couldn't logically prove they werent drugs" they absolutely must have been. Absolute joke. Clearly this establishment operates under a "Guilty until proven innocent" policy. I was given literally zero chance to defend myself and treated like a scumbag junkie. I resent that accusation and i will be taking it further, Your employee is guilty of slander. I'm not exactly fussed about being refused entry to your establishment, life goes on. But your employee needs to be taken off his power trip cos hes manifesting rubbish he has no proof of, and if he's doing it once and losing you legitimate business. He'll do it again and lose you more.

Traumatic experience here that has left me very clear in my decision to never, ever return. I'd avoid here, especially if you're over 35.

A really fun venue, great for punk gigs. It's in a really good location as well, I imagine I'd want to be here all the time if I lived in Glasgow.

Georgina Bevan

Always meet lovely people here and staff always very nice, but entry at £7 which I feel is kinda

Underwhelming, but okay experience. Music choice was questionable for a rock club.

Leonidas Filippidis

Excellent! Loving the drag shows, great staff, spectacular music

Decent rock night out in Central Glasgow. Queue often means a bit of a wait but free entry with O2 Academy tickets is nice. Drinks reasonably priced, good music selection.

I am new to Glasgow and I was hoping to enter on Halloween Day, but the security guard banned me for racist reasons because I am not Scottish. I'm so sad

1st time at the Cathous tonight for the fabulous Steve n Seagulls. I wanted to give a massive shout out to the clubs staff. You guys are amazing. I have mobility issues and when I asked for a chair it was no trouble at all. Then to be moved to another part of the venue, so that we could see better and not be knocked about, was going above and beyond the call of duty. It was very much appreciated and I wanted to thank you all. You made a great gig phenomenal ?
