Absolutely awful food. Booked a table for a family reuinion, arrived and ordered mains for everyone. There was no one else eating when we ordered our food and the place was quite empty and yet it still took an hour and a half for our meals to be served. When they came out, almost all were stone cold but that wasn’t the worst part … the steaks were scrawny, burnt on the outside but pink in the middle, watered down sauce, greasy skinny fries, brown dried out salad leaves and a single slice of tomato, fish missing batter in one side, peas that were so old they were rock hard and had actually gone sour and only 10 cold chips on the plate for £12.99, the roast beef was so tough most of it was left and if you only have one piece of carrot, don’t bother serving it. Only one meal came out hot but I suspect that came straight from the freezer and into the microwave. But sadly even a toasted sandwich wasn’t wholly edible. The meals weren’t particularly cheap and we were realistic in our expectations as we’d been here before. It’s not difficult to cook well cheap cuts of food if you know how to cook, but clearly the person in the kitchen was out of their depth on this occasion. The bill payer was offered a discount and the servers were extremely apologetic but it definitely put a dampener on the day and we all left hungry and in search of more food.

Went for Christmas Dinner to our local. Tricia and Tracy did amazing, nothing was a bother and were very attentive. Meal was delicious, all served piping hot, well done to the Chef! Always great service at The Chase, staff are so friendly. Well Done everyone! Alison x

The Chase is our local and is a really great place for food and drink. Went for the Neil Diamond tribute act and we had a wonderful afternoon, the atmosphere was brilliant, singing and dancing and lots of laughter. Staff are really welcoming and work hard. I would definitely recommend the Chase and hope that there are more tribute acts in the near future.

Took grandchildren for Breakfast with Santa this morning kids had a great time. Tracy and the team went all out to make their visit a memorable one. Cooked breakfast for the kids a visit from Santa and the elf which they loved and were super excited with their gifts that they got,party games and making cookies/snowmen that they couldn't wait to eat them. A great morning was had by all. Well done girls a lot of Happy kids today ?
Excellent local pub which serves great food. Staff are also excellent and very customer orientated. Proud to have it as my local .

Breakfast with Santa was brilliant. Getting all the tables interacting was a great way to build the atmosphere for the big man arriving. My wee boy is 18 months and the wee gift he got was excellent for the price we paid. I thought the extras, like making marshmallow snowmen and party games added to a great wee morning. Will defo be back next year and hopefully the wee one is a bigger fan of Santa by then haha - but he defo approved of his brekki ???♀️?♀️

We attended breakfast with Santa & it was great ✨. Mini fry up for the kids, biscuit making, party games, dancing and of course meeting Santa & receiving a gift! We had a great time & can’t wait to do it again next year! Thank you ❤️

Breakfast with Santa this morning with my granddaughter and it was amazing, Tracy and her staff done an excellent job organising and putting it altogether and not forgetting Santa the kids had a ball, party games and dancing, highly recommend, we'll done everyone involved ??
