Chinese Restaurants in Glasgow

“Food A1, Service A1, plenty of food for what you pay, atmosphere personally felt a little strange (let me try and explain). The staff members, when finished doing what they were doing, (eg: taking a drink to a table) would then go and stand alone in a dark corner with covid masks on this did not affect service or anything in any way, myself and hubby noticed and just thought it was a little weird. It must work for them because can't fault service one bit.Kid-friendliness: Some children were eating when we arrived,Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level, disabled bathroom in situ”

“There are not a lot of really good sit in Chinese restaurants in the Paisley area now - another thing to blame covid for when everyone, out of necessity, went down the takeaway/ home delivery route. Anyway we had an enjoyable dinner - food was excellent, lovely atmosphere and very attentive staff. The lady i was with was celebrating her birthday and got a fan fare and a special cocktail and photographs taken. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for and I would recommend the Panda Villa for a special night out”

“I’ve lived in Glasgow for a few years and honestly most of the time I am let down by food, I find lots of places are over rated and never anything special. The Real Wan has changed my perspective on this - offering larger dishes and small dishes too, so we shared a few. Happy to say every dish was delicious, FULL of flavour, hot and so fresh, and authentic. A highlight was the rice cakes and the geda noodle with aubergine. It’s BYOB which is great and there’s a few interesting and pleasant soft drinks on offer. Mochi was also a highlight. Lovely attentive staff in this small, cosy and welcoming restaurant. Can’t wait to be backVegetarian options: Lots of the dishes can be made vegan or vegetarian with thoughtful options like aubergine or shitake.”

“Tiny wee place with little to no parking available most times but the food is fabulous, for some reason the take away is even better than the dine in food but that's just my opinion as the menu is different.Well worth trying.”

“Best Chinese around now, can't fault any off my order will definitely be using this place from now on. Got the beef curry fried rice and salt and chilly chips. Beef was lovely and definitely not soggy like other local Chinese in the local area. Chips were great also. Definitely 5* for me.”

“Wow. We are very very picky about Chinese food as usually it’s fake chicken and to salty but the chicken fried rice (no oyster sauce ) is amazing. I’ve ordered 2 days in a row.I should mention I’ve gone to the shop each time so I don’t know about delivery.”

“Yee Yum's bento boxes are extremely good value for money (one £5-6 bento box = a full meal), and the food is very tasty – much better quality than your average Chinese take away. Service is also very friendly. The only problem, however, is that some of the tables are quite dirty, which is evidence that they aren't always cleaned after use. Apart from this slight hygiene issue, a great little Chinese cafe.”
