Anniversary Dinner gone wrongCame in with the family and the service we received was beyond trying to find words. Our table was set for us and the server blonde lady came to take our drink order and I asked for 5 refillable and we got asked about 10 questions do you want ice or not full fat or diet we have never been asked before, she then took our order and my husband made an amendment to his order is he hates chicken on the bone we asked for extra cajun instead then she asked me again at the ice machine and I explained again cajun, after she took the food order we had to go to the bar and ask for our salad bowls as she forgot to give them to us and then we got the salad and some of the pasta was frozen.After we got our food took a while for them to check if all was ok. It took ages for our plates to get cleared and then we asked for dessert, got the menu flung onto the table and not even 2 seconds later do you know what you want, give us time to look at the menu don't force your customer to make a choice there and then.While we were sitting there I noticed that the server was still in training and 3 other members of staff were standing there watching her and doing nothing to help her this is not a good standard of training for a new member of staff (coming from someone who works in hospitality).Me, my husband and son were all ill last night which we think was the pasta as it was still frozen, Bad experience for an anniversary meal with the family won't be back

Our server was great, very attentive and friendly. Other staff member was lovely too when our original server was busy with another table and helped us out until he came back as my 6 year old was getting impatient. The teamwork was great to see. Food was lovely, good portions and not too heavy. Dessert was great too, won the seal of approval from our child who announced she would be back! Thanks again.

We came as a table of 20 for a birthday tonight, we had Danielle serving us at our table. Would highly recommend and so pleased with how helpful and friendly Danielle was the full time we were there. Always had a smile on her face and was really helpful with changes to dishes etc and she also took the time to chat to us throughout the night. We enjoyed it that much that we have booked to come back again as a large party for another birthday, and hopeful that Danielle will be serving us again ?

Our Server Laura was fantastic, Smiling and happy to help, nothing was a drama.Food was good and cooked the way I asked. Always a winner with the salad bar here and with the refillable soft drinks. Will be back in the not to distant future.

Waitress Lesley Anne was lovely she welcomed us as if we were at a party at her house. I noticed that she did this with everyone despite being incredibly busy. The chicken gougons are gorgeous and the chocolate brownie Sunday is scrumptious.

It's was ok but not great. Staff were pleasant enough and quick to serve. Kids fish fingers were not that good and chocolate sauce on the cookie was like syrup from an ice cream van. Atmosphere was like a pub.

Thought the level of service from Amy K was excellent, value for money on drinks, I felt was good.One of our party got the 2 course evening menu which was excellent as it is very hard to find a good evening set menu. I had the ultimate mixed grill which was incredible value for money & really nice!

4* ??Went on a Tuesday at dinner time. Relaxed atmosphere. Our server was great to us very helpful and friendly. I had fish n chips then a Sunday best_ desert (you must try ?) partner had a rump steak dinner said it was pretty good. there is a lovely wee salad table in the middle you get a wee bowl and using tongs you help yourself before the meal or a wee soup bread. The staff were excellent and food was delicious, however, once I got home to Ayrshire and was checking my receipt to split the bill I found out we hasn't been charged the lunch time menu price for the 5 adult lunches and had been charged the full cost off the main menu and was quite disappointed with this but the whole experience overall was excellent

Seated quickly as it wasn’t very busy, husband asked what lagers on tap, waitress didn’t really have a clue, left us to look at menu when she returned both items were off?? We really should’ve been told when being seated what was actually finished on the menu, food wasn’t really the best, don’t think I’ll be rushing back
