When I went into Hook for 2 small bags of chips, I noticed that the price of chips wasn't on the board but didn't think anything of it at the time. I asked the rude guy behind the counter for 2 small bags of chips, he told me to wait 5 minutes. Then a rude older woman came out and said "two chips, 8 pounds". I reluctantly paid as we were both hungry, but £4 for a small bag of chips? I'm sorry, not a bloody chance. No wonder the price wasn't on the board! Absolute daylight robbery, the owners should be ashamed.

It's one of the best chip shops I've ever been to. Food lovely and cooked to order so you do have to wait. Staff really friendly. Really well done out. A different from other chip shops.

Probably the worst fish supper from here, fish was chewy , and just not flakey , didn’t taste great , chips average .. back to Catch /Marios ..

This is definitely the best choice out of the three eateries available in the location. They are friendly, efficient very affordable and the meals are home made hot and taste amazing.

Ordered for the first time last night. Staff friendly, chips tasty but the fish was straight out the drier, so greasy, and all I could taste was grease. Very disappointed for the £24 which included 4 sachets of sauce and a can of urn bru

Absolutely disgusting was retried and cut up into quarters overcooked and tastes off to tooo on it off took them 1hr 15 minutes to deliver
