I'd say the cuisine was average. I wouldn't call it authentic. Being an Italian restaurant, the pizza was not as good as expected. I only eat or buy pizza made in a traditional clay oven. I could tell their pizza wasn't cooked in one. Saying that the service was good. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Despite the fact that the meal was subpar, it brightened our day. I would advise the owner to take a closer look at the quality and originality of their pizzas.

First time trying Il pavone as a family. Food was superb and good portions. The staff were excellent and very attentive. The place was so busy but the staff were all smiling and very helpful. Keep up the good work. We will definitely be returning again.

Really nice restaurant with friendly staff. The food tasted nice but the only disappointment was it wasn't very warm. The soup and main course was only just warm and the garlic bread was cold.

Very good ambience, starters and desserts were yum but main course not upto the mark. Comparing the main course with other italian places in Glasgow it's not that good. Vegetarians have limited options.

Hubby had to send his pasta back as it was lukewarm..Lady and young gent who served us , could not be more helpful and accommodating.Wine pricey now….£25 for a bottle of House white….I had the soup of the day , as a starter….amazing flavour and piping hot.

We had a fantastic meal and it's was so cheap I have been a chef for 30 years and it's very rare I enjoy a meal as much as this definitely recommend

Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough seriously everything was perfect the service the food I mean everything I am a chef with 30 years experience and its so hard to go out for meals sometimes apart from here it was perfect and all for under £100 4 x 3 course meals and drinks Can't recommend it highly enough especially the minestrone soup Thank you so much we will definitely be back
