“This is a multi-story restaurant that can best be described as 'cosy.' Like many restaurants in the area, space is as a premium. We arrived at 6:30pm with no reservation and they offered us a small table in the bar. We accepted and another waiter came down and said they had a table for us upstairs. We ended up dining in the main dining room where every table was occupied. We started with Kingfisher beers. Since they had a reservation for another couple at 8pm, our waiter insisted that we order dinner immediately. We started with the crab prawn dosa as an appetizer. That was followed by a vegetable karahi and Delhi style lamb with an order of basmati rice and Pershwari naan. The food arrived in about 15 minutes and it looked and smelled great. We enjoyed all of the dishes, but especially the lamb. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great. We should have skipped the vegetarian dish because we had more than enough to eat with the other dishes. We would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want great, upscale Indian food. Please plan ahead and book a reservation.”

“Family run South Indian restaurant with amazing authentic food. From the popadoms and the special dips to the mixed grill - it's full of flavour and well made. Something spicy in the garlic chilli curry was amazing. The mild coconut masala was so colourful and full of flavour. The restaurant is lovely and cozy and well decorated. Taz and Tina were very welcoming hosts and made sure we had a special time :)”

“I ordered on Uber Eats. The lamb methi gosht is incredible… I really love the taste of fenugreek. It was savoury, wasn’t too l hot. Absolutely packed with flavour and the lamb was cooked to perfection. The drink was cold. I’ll definitely be getting from here again.”

“This was always my favourite Indian until the past few times I’ve had a takeaway. They have added a different spice to them pakora and spicy onions & it’s not tasking better ! I don’t like it and sadly won’t be back due to this . I’ve been eating there for the past 4 years . Going to look for another place .Staff are always nice here .It’s also very pricey compared to other places .”

“Gorgeous place with gorgeous food. We came in with no reservations on a Saturday evening looking for halal food and were lucky enough to wait some 15-ish minutes.Hostess brought us to the bar area to have some drinks while we waited for our seats. The restaurant was packed and buzzing by then and when we were ushered to our seats, we kept bumping into servers and customers walking about. Some people might not like that, but I just love it. It just sort of adds to the lively atmosphere even more.Got our food within another 15 min of ordering, and was served our Lamb Madras, Monkfish Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, chicken pakoras, some Masala fries and the Jeera and lemon rice.Do you guys ever to a South Asian or curry place and find that everything tastes the same? Well, not here — all their curries were distinct from one another and it was such an enjoyable experience being able to savour them individually and then mixed and matched together. The monkfish was particularly wonderful, and while usually such a dense fish, in the curry it was tender and delightfully sweet. The Lamb madras just melts in your mouth, warming you in all the right ways. Obviously the chicken tikka is a favourite, but it was bordering on boring if you ask me, but all in all, fantastic curries.Even the side dishes we got were good: Chicken pakora were so, so tender and flavourful; rice was light and well-seasoned; we might’ve ordered too much carbs but again, can’t go wrong with the masala fries, lovingly spiced and seasoned. We took those to go in the end.Service was great — our servers came in to check in with us twice and always seemed to be in good spirits. Everywhere you look, it’s such a picture. The old-school yet updated interiors and ambiance definitely lends to the coziness of the experience. Will surely be back here the next time we’re in Glasgow again.Dietary restrictions: Went in June 2022 and meats served were halal.”
