Every time I get a chippy from here there is always something wrong eg the food isn't cooked properly or its overdone or the food has been lying out for to long or the order is wrong... I so wish you would get it right if not shut the shop.

After my negative experience with L’Arco fish n chips, I thought I would give Kadir’s a try !Having previously worked in Fish restaurants I was delighted to see the fish being cooked to order and as such had no quibble with the charge of £17.00 for the two special suppers!However, on unpacking the food, I was disappointed to learn the chips were in fact reheated and were dry and tepid thus not very palatable !So near yet so far to finding a fish n chip shop who can produce quality !We have obviously been spoiled with the fresh tasting fish n chips from Enzos at Paisley Road West, who have learned the secret of producing good quality fish n chips, that is, providing you don’t order via just eat or any such delivery method!Collecting the product means you can see how the food is cooked and it’s still warm when you get home to eat !

Update - Not very good anymore. All batter, very little fish. Saying that, the batter is quite nice. If you like batter more than you like fish then Kadir's is the place to go.

Used to be the best chippy in Barrhead but has sadly went downhill in recent years. The fish is always very thin with a LOT of greasy batter. Don't be fooled by thinking it looks like a nice thick fillet, it never is, it's an illusion.Avoid.
Dreadful. Ordered special fish supper and the fish was hard and dried out as though it had been cooked much earlier. The chips weren't much better. Won't order from here again.
