I came here for my birthday cakes. I found them to be too sweet, and all with a similar flavour. There wasn’t much flavour other than ‘sweet’, not sure how to describe it. It was dry and bland, the cake pots were inedible.

The cakes tasted really artificial, like poor quality ingredients. I couldn't eat them which was disappointing as they were for a special Christmas night in. The chocolate in them tasted chalky.We were also actually given the wrong cakes, which I had to email about as they appear non-contactable via social media.The only thing that was right and tasted good was the Red Velvet Nutella Brownie.Will not be back.

Tried this place twice now and they are just the best bakes in Glasgow. Blondies are out of this world. The raspberry and white chocolate truffles were 20/10 absolutely wish I bought more. I’ve also tried the millionaires which was really sweet, the rocky road was delicious too, the cookie bars and a cookie are currently in my freeze yet to try but they look incredible and no doubt they’ll be delicious. Must try if you appreciate good bakes!

We chose Lily bakes cakes for our wedding cake and it was 100% the right choice. Lily was great and so helpful. We always wanted a smaller cake and Lily made this to perfection. We got some flowers from the near by florist which Lily collected herself and placed in the cake for decoration. Apart from it looking beautiful it also tasted beautiful.... was a hit with all our guests! Definitely recommend

The most unprofessional customer service.I tried to order a bespoke cake for a special occasion. After emails and messages were ignored I went into the shop to arrange things in person last Saturday. She told me she'd email back to allow us finalise plans. In the week since then, I've sent multiple emails, texts, left repeated voicemails asking her to have the courtesy to get back in touch. And have been 100% blanked.These might well be the greatest cakes ever. But nothing's worth tolerating customer service like this.

Like other reviewers we have tried to contact this business by email and phone multiple times with absolutely no response. We can understand if there are issues but an email out of office message or voicemail message could at least make that clear. We’ll spend our money on a wedding cake elsewhere. Wish I’d checked these reviews before even bothering!
