The food was good but the Asian waitress could barely crack a smile. She looked like she wanted to end her life.

Firm family favourite, Mother India never disappoints. We got assigned great seats in the first floor, place to be, the staff were excellent as always. Food amazing and plentiful. If you love a good curry, this is the place to be in Glasgow.

The dishes were tasty and good quality. A little bit cramped, but this is due to the restaurants popularity. Very well served and definitely going back.

Only good thing about the restaurant was the ambience, very mediocre food, only thing you could taste in every dish was the salt. Naan was really good tho. Servers looked very confused and didn’t seem to know the menu quite well. Sadly no one came up to us to ask anything after serving. Really disappointed with the service and the food.

Brilliant food, good service, Herat atmosphere. It’s a traditional Indian restaurant in the best sense. We will definitely go back when next in Glasgow.

Overrated experience. After a taxi ride from the city centre on our quest to find a indian restaurant. This restaurant did not in our opinion live up to it's reputation. To be fair the decor was candle lit and nice. I will say starters were OK. However the menu was very limited as regards indian cuisine. My main dish of Chicken curry was very average to say the least . It did not cut the ice for me and I can say bland comes to mind. I must stress this is my opinion. Maybe others will think different.
