Great Japanese restaurant lovely tasting food nice and fresh.lovely inside with the decorStaff so nice and so helpfulExplaining what the food was like as hadn't tried there food before great restaurant great experience. The location of Oiishi restaurant is in a side street in the village which you could walk round is like going back in time especially at night a must to go here if in the area or even to try something different.Parking: Free parking I'm sure after 6pm but please check to make sure there is parking behind the restaurant

Came here many times before. This will be the last. We booked weeks in advance and were not given the booked table (despite the restaurant being empty) and the servers all had bad attitude problems for some reason. They misheard our entire order and then were completely rude and miserable for the remainder of the night. While the mandatory 12.5% service charge which they propose is to make for better value for customers over the holidays is just nonsensical. It seems that greed and poor customer service skills have taken over what was once a good family run establishment.

Great food and friendly staff. Had to while a little while to be seated but were given free drinks for the hassle. Food never disappoints ?

Have eaten in and have also ordered from the restaurant a few times. All of their sushi is delicious and their katsu curry and crispy Duck sweet chilli noodles are amazing. The only bad thing I have to say is the times we’ve eaten in it felt very much like there wasn’t enough wait staff or the ones that where there didn’t really care once you’ve ordered ( the main reason why we now just get delivery’s instead).

Gorgeous interior. Tasty fresh sushi nicely presented. Decent service, reasonably priced.

Fit us in between reservations on a busy friday night, which was kind of them to start, followed by the most efficient service I've ever had anywhere. Food was incredible, in and out in about 30 minutes. Just an overall outstanding experience.

First time getting a takeaway from here and wow! Blown away by how good the food was! I’m veggie but there were plenty of options! Gyozas and pumpkin fritters were so tasty and the veggie udon noodles was delicious!

Fantastic authentic Japanese food!! Some of the best we’ve had outside of Japan. Service was lovely and friendly, restaurant beautifully decorated with sakura and art. Will definitely be back!

The staff are rude and very miserable, if you don't want to be there then find a job your happy in? Ruining my night because you're unhappy in you're job.... food is good but over rated, some dishes had good flavour and some not so much , wouldn't go again.

Recommendation from Malaysian friend. Advised that it was the best place for Sushi in Glasgow. Presentation was fantastic and taste was authentic. Would focus more on sushi rather than getting main dishes so you can try different flavours. The ramen and rice dishes were good but not the main star of the show.

Stands out above every other Japanese restaurant in Scotland.Food is lovely, of a good quality.Though be warned; their miso soup (which appears on the vegetarian bento box) is not actually miso soup, but pork-miso soup.Katsu and Amai are great as are the koroke (though I once got karage delivered instead of koroke -staff's English language is not great so be careful when telling them about allergies)Re allergies; the katsu sometimes has dairy, sometimes has gluten depending on which staff member you ask.Overall the place is a lovely setting, deliveries are great, food very tasty, my only real gripe really is allergy information and lack of alternatives to accommodate allergies.Vegetarian options: Beware the miso soup; its pork-miso.

Terrible service, booked a table for 4, came in and they sat a table of 4 walk in right before us. When it came to our turn they said they made a mistake and had to wait 2 hours for another table. If you can’t speak english to a sensible standard, you shouldn’t be running a restaurant. Absolutely disgusting service, drove over an hour to be met with such silly service. Literally sat a table of 4 walk in right in front of us but denied us a table although we had a booking. Rude service i would not recommend.

This is one of the best restaurants in east kilbride. The host (brian) was very welcoming on entry. Im a huge fan of Spanish tapas, and its good that they do a selection of Japanese style tapas. The quality of food is excellent, and i highly recommend the chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, vegetable gyoza, korokke, tori karaage, yasai tempuru, stir-fried ramen noodles, and Japanese beer.Vegetarian options: There's plenty of vegetarian options on the menu, and options for people who don't like sushi or fish.
