Served by Lily and had a great meal - lychee margaritas were 10/10!

First time trying Vietnamese cuisine, and I was extremely impressed! I will definitely be back. The flavours in the dishes are so fresh and enjoyable. Portion sizes are big as well. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing, and I could spend a while in here sampling the full menu!

One of the best Pho’s I’ve ever had! The broth was full of flavour considering it was vegan- most places struggle with this and I’ve had some really bland soups in the past.Portion size was huge but it was well worth the food baby!Only criticism would be The Weeknd playing the entire time I dined lol

Apart from pretty simple decor and lack of functioning card machine (ask first) this place is a true gem when it comes to vietnamese cuisine. Quick and pleasant service and great food. Highly recommend.

Wide ranging menu on offer. I opted for the North Central hot and spicy noodle soup with well done beef and pork (Bo Chin Hue) It was served minus the pork. I raised this issue with the staff and a small bowl of pork was served for to add. The broth lacked flavour and was flat. It was not hot and spicy at all and was completely disappointing. My partner opted for the chicken Pho Ga noodle soup. The broth was utterly tasteless. Really disappointing. These soups both had fresh ingredients however it's the broth that is the star of the show. When it comes to soup, yes the ingredients were fresh but unless cooked down to make the base of the soup then when just added to a broth then as mentioned earlier it's the richness and depth of flavour in a broth which is the base. We also had the Rang Muoi squid. I must say that this was exceptional. Very tender squid and the batter was very crisp, thin and well seasoned. Staff are friendly. Restaurant atmosphere not for a romantic meal out, more of a quick stop and go.

There’s no novelty, or inauthenticity about this place. This is Vietnamese food, just like it tastes in Vietnam, at really good value for money. Having spent a month there earlier this year, Pho 79 brought me right back. Bia (Beer) Saigon and Hanoi, loads of pho, and great summer rolls make this place well worth visiting. Great value for money too - about £13 for pho, £3.20 for the cheapest spring rolls, and only £3.50 a beer.

No idea why this place isn't busier. It's such a great Vietnamese! Love it! The sort of place that makes you do a wee happy dance while you're eating. There isn't much in the way of atmosphere but it really doesn't matter when the food is this good.

Mistook it for the Pho chain. Sorry to say the food really wasn't up to the standard expected. Tomatoes in noodle broth? Really? Tasteless and a weird flavour which was meat like for a vegan dish. Couldn't eat it despite putting lashings of chilli sauce to mask the broth flavour.

Food was delicious but had a bit of a wait as the place wasn't that busy. Was worth the wait though.Do give it a try if you don't mind waiting.
