Lovely vibe and a cracking cocktail offer buy one get one free. Great selection and can be ordered from your table. This was lovely also. Clean and satisfactory standard of bathroom available.

When I entered was advised they were not taking walk ins was not asked if I only wanted a drink when I advised I did received a very curt reply. Bar was very quiet. No acknowledgment from either member of staff behind the bar. Once the girl behind the bar had finished serving still no acknowledgment Very poor customer service. Appreciate it is a busy bar on a Friday evening Although not busy at the time of my visit. A little courtesy and civility go a long way

Erin, Lora and Amy were all extremely helpful during the booking process and helping us with the Christmas Lunch we had on Friday there. Very friendly and accommodating team and my colleagues and I had a great time - would highly recommend and we'll be planning more work events there in the future!

The experience at The Slug and Lettuce Glasgow was the worst dining experience my family have ever had! We booked a family Christmas night out in Slug & Lettuce Glasgow for the 15th December 2022 and were given a timeslot of 7:15pm. This was supposed to be a party night according to your website. We seemed to be the only table that was eating food and I cannot for the life of me understand why the food we were given was so shoddily prepared. We were all really excited to be seeing each other that night due to previous covid restrictions being in place over the last few years however that Christmas feeling was short lived when we were presented with our meals. When the meals arrived which had to be pre ordered I must add; the starters were just cold and tasted bland and were just awful. Eventually, when the main arrived the vegetables were freezing cold and hard. It was just like they had been just taken out the freezer and left to thaw on the plate and the roast potatoes were really hard too and the rest of the food left a lot to be desired. My sister had opted for salmon for her main course. A mere two minutes passed after finishing her main she had to rush to the toilet and she was violently sick. Note that we were only on our 2nd drink of the evening before anyone thinks we were drunk. This duly ruined the whole evening. One of our family members is a chef and said that in his 25 years in the profession that this was the worst he had ever seen. At this point we got the manager Darren over. Despite his apologies we only received a partial refund. We were only refunded the amount of £90 which equates to the 2 family members who couldn’t make it plus a measly £20. We were not refunded for our third course (that nobody had) and to be perfectly honest I think we should have been refunded the full cost of the meal as it was the most sub standard food we as a family have ever had. The total cost of the meal was £255 for 8 of the festive fayre meal although only 6 of our party could make it as 2 family members could not manage due to the train strike that day. I strongly feel that the £90 we got back on the night was not adequate as it only covered the drinks we had and at the time I felt I had no other option other that to accept this offer as I felt that it was more important for us all to leave and get my sister home safely as your staff were incapable of ordering her a taxi. If we had been in a restaurant and had been served this garbage we would have walked out but unfortunately being at slug and lettuce where everything has to be ordered and paid for in advance before you get there you don’t have that option. We will not be setting foot in any of Slug and Lettuce settings again and I hope that the management don’t just read this review but maybe do something proactive so that other diners don’t go through the same as we have. So thanks to slug and lettuce for ruining our start to Christmas

We had the best day yesterday at Slug & Lettuce!! There was 8 of us having Boozy Brunch which is such good value!! We upgraded and didn’t regret it the southern chicken burger was fab!!! Our server Megan was outstanding she catered to all our needs, nothing was too much trouble!! I would highly recommend S&L ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Booked in for our colleagues leaving night and it’s amazing! Service is amazing and drinks are so nice. Managed to book us a table for 25 people which, as a waitress in a restaurant I understand is a difficult thing to do. Darren, Thomas and Sinead have been amazing :)

Our experience at The Slug and Lettuce Glasgow was awful! When our group arrived we were told that our table wasn't ready yet and if we could stand at the bar and have a drink, fair enough, however the staff at the bar kept telling us we couldn't stand here or there to the extend we were sure where we were allowed to stand. After finally getting seated at out table, nearly 25 minutes after our booking time we were very slowly presented with our preordered meals. However these meal seemed to come out one by one and colder and colder than the previous one. Despite mentioning to our server that the meals were cold, the ones that were taken away were brought back just as cold. Just as were were being server our meals, one over enthusiastic server came to our table to tell us that we had to vacate the table in 10 minutes time fort the next booking. To say that this went down badly with our group is an understatement. On the drinks side of the meal, anytime we asked one of the servers if we could order drinks it appeared that only one person on the eating side of the restuarnt was 'allowed' to take drink orders. To add insult to injury, when getting ushered out at our ten minute warning we were left with 6 drinks unserved yet charged for, Can honestly say that this was the worst service and experience that many of us in the group had ever experienced and we will not be back.

Booked a table for our annual family Xmas lunch and had been looking forward to it as we were meeting up from various parts of the country. On arrival we were welcomed warmly and shown to our table where my son and daughter in law had already arrived . They said that there was no draft beer or cider and it was bottles only. That was where the day started to go downhill. There was a menu on the table offering a festive drinks package of 12 bottles of beer for £45. My daughter was sent up to get that as it seemed like a reasonable deal. She soon returned with only 5 bottles and advised that the festive drinks package was only available if we pre booked. Maybe this shouldn’t have been on a menu at our table then. 2 of the bottles were warm. The waitress advised we could use the app or order our food at the bar. We were paying cash so decided to order at the bar. My daughter jotted everyone’s order down on her phone and went to the bar. She was soon back to say that the festive sharer was out of stock and they had no sub rolls, only wraps. 2 of my guests then had to choose something else. The food came out and we were fairly underwhelmed. The plates were cold so the food was cold. Burger buns hadn’t been toasted, the thin fries were cold and the spicy chicken burger lacked any spice. I enjoyed my burger I have to say and my son did enjoy his wrap. My daughter went up to get another round of drinks and they only had 1 bottle of magnets left and it was best before december 2022. On the menu the big bottle was advertised but they only had a 330ml bottle. We didn’t see a waitress at our table to ask if everything was ok or if we enjoyed our meal. The same waitress who greeted us came and advised us that we had to leave our table in 10 minutes. That was fine as it was busy and were only expecting to have our table for 90 minutes. It’s not like me not to leave a tip but the waiting staff were too busy to bother with us and it was disappointing that the full menu wasn’t available only a couple of days after it started. Not a great impression.

Me and the sister-in-law (not by choice lol) had a smashing time on Sunday 20th November. Seems like half the Great city of Glasgow were in that day as it was beyond busy! However the lovely ladies who served me were unbelievable and managed to hold the fort. The pink-haired girl Becky was fabulous and gave us amazing cocktail recommendations. I asked about the Appletini but sadly had been told it was removed however Becky whisked up another drink called under the sea which was absolutely mertastic!!! She was enthralling. The girl behind the bar (Blonde one with ear piercings) served up a magnificent P*rnstar martini (don’t want to say the actual name for religious reasons) and feel she should be given credit for her hard work as well. Finally our last drink (after plenty!) was delivered by the charming Rachel who gave us many a giggle! We’d downed half the bar before heading to Westlife. All of the staff did amazing and should be proud of how hard they worked (it was as busy as The Range on a Tuesday after the raffle prizes!). We will be back, or maybe just me, Margaret can’t handle her booze!

We came for drinks before we went for dinner. We were so surprised to learn that it was half price cocktails even at the weekend that we came back after our meal. The staff were so friendly and happy. Might even book my work Xmas night here if the deal is still on.
