Just received the saddest, cold, empty dry sandwich of my life… despite requesting lots of salad on my meal. No answer from the restaurant and no refund from deliveroo. Avoid this store and go elsewhere… battlefield store on just eat is more reliable!

Genuinely disgusting, a regular customer on Uber eats to but I decided to walk in store today and the service was awful, food was terrible, I know it’s subway and not a 5 star restaurant, but avoid this place.
So I ordered my sandwich on Deliveroo patiently waited and went to open my front door when the wee app map showed someone about to arrive. Nobody on my doorstep. Nobody up the street. Nobody down the street. No backpack carrier or bike anywhere around. Certainly no sandwich! I wait a few minutes more - the map is telling me he's here but he's not! I go back into the house to look up the number to ring them. SURPRISE - Deliveroo now says the sandwich has been delivered. OH NO IT HAS NOT unless it's the invisible man with the zero calorie, invisible sandwich that's NOT in my belly! I phone them through Deliveroo - voicemail. I phone them through their website - the bleep of a disconnected phone. I ask through the site for the sandwich to be delivered and apparently they're making it? This. Is DODGY...... and I've now been waiting an hour to NOT have a sandwich and instead have to make lots of calls! How can they possibly claim someone is at my house when there was nobody even came near? How is a food place that's taking money and orders not answering their phone in the middle of the day? Your answers on a postcard cos I have ZERO clue! PS can I have my sandwich now pretty pretty please? Nb - the Subway on Victoria Road orders actual real sandwiches in 15 minutes or so, whereas my house is around 2 blocks from this Subway who've failed to deliver and lied about it for 1 hour now. The Subway on Victoria Road also answers if phoned from Deliveroo or directly, and refunds or replaces swiftly if there's any issue with an order. Recommend if you are an actual person expecting actual customer service and actual, well, food that you try the Subway on Victoria Road instead! I am still waiting....
