Popped in for lunch. Hadn't been in this restaurant for a long number of years and was pleasantly surprised to see it had been renovated and the modern seating area was very comfortable.Lunch menu choices were good and although prices were a bit higher than expected, the food quality and service were good.

Service incredibly slow, food cold on

Funeral reception party. We had to ask when food was arriving as we waited so long. It is understandable to wait as it's a party of 22 and food is not pre-ordered. However, food made to order should be warm. Most steak pie orders were cold, some to the point of being inedible; the chicken was not greatly warm and was tough; the tea out of flasks was 'stewed'. Management accepted comments and gave free sticky toffee pudding to everyone, although quite a few didn't actually want it by this point. The pudding was actually the warmest and nicest thing served. The room was also very cold and we had to ask for radiators to be turned on. It was a stress that the family could have done without on the day - listening to their guests complain. That being said, the staff were friendly and did their best.

Went here for our work Christmas night out and the service was incredible. There was 15 of us and they made sure everything went perfectly. One person wasn't a fan of their meal (nothing wrong just not to their taste) and the server offered a replacement and when she said no offered her something else in the house. The male server we had (sorry didn't catch his name) was incredible making sure we were all looked after and drinks kept coming. We will definitely be back and will go again with family as the environment was amazing!

Had evening meal for 5 people. 3 said food was good, 2 said just OK. Restaurant was full so service was a bit slow but all staff pleasant and helpful.

Felt terrible for the two girls serving who had to attend a busy restaurant as well as the bar! All food was enjoyed however the cheese cake was inedible as has strange aftertaste & plate was wet on arrival but nobody to complain to.

Very disappointing Christmas lunch, very rushed, poor quality and not worth the £90 per head. Was aware of the 90 min time slot and was actually worried that it wouldn’t be long enough, I had no reason to worry, we pre-ordered our food and were given our starters within a few mins of sitting down and before our drinks arrived. As soon as we fin shed starters were given our main. We finished our main course within 30 mins of arriving. Quality of food wasn’t good, the goats cheese tart was a lump of goats cheese on a plate which was very unappealing, I couldn’t finish it, the turkey seemed like it was pre cut mass produced sliced turkey and the vegetables were hard. The pudding was nothing special. We didn’t find paying the included service charge as the staff were working Christmas Day after all however the customer service could off been better.

Delicious lunch on Hogmanay with my daughter. We ate scamorza fritti and tempura crab to start then beer battered haddock and gnocchi and everything was delicious. Good selection of wines by the glass. Staff were attentive and friendly. I look forward to returning.

Christmas day dinner. 7 of us in total. 4 adults 3 kids! We were shown our table and within minutes food was served. No drinks order took which felt very rushed!!! Drinks arrived at the end of finishing our starters. Mains out within 5 minutes of them clearing the starters! Had to get my son to ask a staff member for another drinks order. Drinks were sitting at the bar after a few minutes of ordering and had to ask if we could just take them so we had them While eatting! Desserts when can the ice cream on the plates were all melted which im guessing had been sitting out for a while. As soon as desserts were cleared the waitress asked if we would like the bill. It was honestly too rushed …. Booking was 330pm and all meals were served and bill paid for 430pm. £52 service charge which personally i dont think should be added let the customer make the choice on how much they want to pay!!! Completely disappointed.

Booked here for Christmas lunch (£90 per adult £45 child) the food was fine but felt the price was excessive even if its on Christmas day itself when other places are offering far more! The atmosphere was somewhat dull. The service we received was good, the waitress was very friendly and welcoming and we can not fault it in any way. The meal was rushed which made it less enjoyable. We weren't made aware of service charge (should have been told at time of booking) and to be honest we would be more than happy to tip but not to be told how much! Would we go back?? Yeah maybe for a casual lunch but certainly not next Christmas! Will definitely check out other venues!

Booked a Xmas meal for my family £90 per person (which I thought was a bit much) anyway its Xmas I thought! Big mistake, meal was definitely not worth the money, turkey was OK, veg was hard some of the potatoes were hard, personally I think they were pinged in the microwave! When booking wasn't told about service charge or vacating table at a certain time! The bill was £700 which means there tip was £70 think it's unnecessary to be told what you should pay as a tip! They certainly didn't deserve the tip, I will never be back to the Cricklewood complete rip off!
