Hot rolls are tasty and amazing! Egg and black pudding was soft, runny egg as always. Scott and Zeko are lovely and friendly staff and our Jameson hot chocolate was top notch! Recommend the Jameson hot chocolates or anything else as everything is fab. ???

Stopped here for an impromptu lunch, service was fast and friendly and the food was great. Prices were good too.Sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine. Nice outdoor space, could use a little weeding opposite the pub to improve the space.

Wee visit to the Thornwood in partick today for a light lunch.Chicken ceaser salad for me and uncle cha got Mexican mac n cheese n fries. 1 coke zero and 1 irn bru. £26.40It was absolutely unbelievable, i throughly enjoyed it and so did uncle cha. Can't wait to visit again n I'll try a different salad this time it was so good.Thanks folks ✌️

This place has been our local for the past 4 years. Friendly staff and nice vibes. However food is mediocre with not many options and they can certainly improve presentation and hospitality for customers. For example, sides dishes, sauces and tap water could be provided without having to ask. Prices have also skyrocketed which is something that drive us out.
First time here recommended by a friend. Hadnt booked a table lucky 2 get 1 will book in future. Staff fab and so is food ? thank

The Thornwood looked in good shape on Thursday and had quite a few tourists but what a disappointment to be told on arrival that “no, we don’t serve any Scottish beer”. What’s with this anti-local bias? No doubt one of the big English breweries has taken over the Thornwood!
