Since our last visit 5 years ago, the restaurant has had a full refurbishment, and it looks very stylish and obviously professionally done. We chose the 3-course pre-theatre menu which was great value for money. Food was authentic Italian and really delicious. The tiramisu was especially tasty! Thank you to the friendly staff who looked after us. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Everything was delicious, the employees were caring and kind. It was an experience we will never forget. We thank Mr. Özkan for his interest.

Food was ok, I've had better pizza and pasta elsewhere, not worth the price. Waiter was nice. However, service was extremely slow. I booked a table for 7, and the food took over an hour to arrive! This could be expected with a larger table but 4 tables of 4 came in afterus and were served and finished their meals before ours arrived.I would not eat here again, I did not feel very welcome. My group were all younger than the people at other tables but, we were polite and dressed well - I feel like the service was poorer for us because those other tables were older people and the restaurant seemed to care more about them. The manager guy was quite cheeky when we had to rush to leave too! - We had somewhere else to be at 7pm, we sat down in the restaurant 20 past 5. There was no good reason for our meals to take so long.

I am writing whilst waiting for them to recalculate our bill after over charging. This was just one of many disappointing things about Verona. The service is truly awful, they barely came to check on the table and take dishes away. Worst thing was they screwed up our booking, claiming it was for the previous day despite proof that it wasn't, saying it was our fault. Overpriced too.

Service was excellent and the chef came out to enquire about our meals. Thd mussels as a starter were my highlight. Would definitely go back.

The food is really nice, but the waiter and owner of the restaurant were way too chatty, asking invasive personal questions, even though I clearly showed that I don't want to engage with them in a conversation and it happened to me several times already. Probably not visiting ever again.

Staff were nice, starters were good, the lasagne was watery, however, they have started adding a service charge, for a table of 10 I get it, but for a table of 2? Come on, I left the exact money and didn't tip. As I'll do with anywhere putting a service charge on.

Visited on 2nd December. I don’t even know where to start with this review. I am completely and utterly shocked at our experience at this “restaurant “. Me and my dad had booked for 6pm so we arrived and it took maybe 5 minutes for us to be acknowledge. We were told they were just getting our table ready which we were absolutely fine with. Crowds of people came in the door who were also booked for 6pm and stood for ages. 35 minutes went by and I went up to a girl and asked how long it was going to take for us to be sat and she said 5 minutes. Me and my dad were utterly raging at this point. People who had been in after us were seated first. I then seen the waiters at the bar laughing . Now if I was working in a restaurant with all of these unhappy customers at the door waiting a ridiculous amount of time I would NOT be laughing. I then went up to who I think was the manager and said how appalled I was and was wondering if we could be sat down: he then sat us down instantly without any apology. Throughout this full time there was always empty seats and tables available so I couldn’t fathom why we weren’t seated apart from they had just forgotten about us or simply didnt care. We sat down for it to take us 15 minutes to order drinks and we weren’t given a menu. So I had asked and they tried to tell me that we couldn’t get the alacarte menu as they had ran out ?!? I was completely shocked and every other table were talking about how poor and ridiculous it was. I spoke to the manager who said there was nothing they could do. For a start they could have told us 40 minutes ago at the door. We instantly stood up and went to tell the younger waitress we were leaving and she completely ignored us. I work in hospitality and I can understand things can happen and there can be nothing do but all it takes is COMMUNICATION. There was not even a smidge of communication. We instantly left and thankfully managed to get a table in another restaurant which turned out to be amazing so I suppose thanks for leading us to a different restaurant. I will certainly not be back and I would highly recommend people to go elsewhere.

Booked via 5pm.com because of the set pre theatre menu at £23.95 for 3 courses. When we arrived, the waiter tried very hard to persuade us to take the Xmas menu at £29.95, but we didn't like the options available. The food was lovely can't fault it. The male waiters seemed to be always getting at the female waiters, one even stood watch while she took our order which was weird. Then came the bill ? they cannot charge you £23.95, but instead charge you £19.95 for 2 course then start adding on extra costs for desert, absolutely bizarre and confused the life out of me lol. Place isn't for me and won't be returning.
