The beef was so tough that some of it was inedible. Tiny portions for the price. Harsh bright lighting made for zero atmosphere.

I usually love Yo sushi. Although the city one is cold and not cosy at all, it’s usually decent. Today they were understaffed but that doesn’t mean customer service goes out of the window. We were a party of 4 and one of us didn’t get their main dish, when we mentioned it, it would be fixed after 45 min however, we never got the dish and left. At the counter there wasn’t a “sorry” or “our apologies” no recognition at all. Very poor customer service. A smile and friendly behaviour costs nothing.

Food is not fresh at all in general. There was only one front staff so we feel bearly help. When I requested an empty bowl for sharing miso soup with my friends they gave a bowl with some tofu and seaweed, which made me confused.Plastic cup with lots of cracks make it look so dirty. Few of dishes on line did not have food and some of them were even eaten a few pieces.Me and my friend had some dishes and order online then cost 61 totally. They even not show me the bills or notified that the bills included 7.5% service charge. Since Im not happy to pay for kind of sevice.

We ordered a delivery via Uber Eats.These were by far the smallest portions we ever saw, our meal was merely an appetizer. The prawns had no taste and the curry that was supposed to accompany it was nonexistent. Too many ornamental erbs, though. The price paid for these miserable portions was definitely not worth it. Of course we were still hungry, so we ended up going to the shops to get something else to eat. We should have done it from the start. What a waste of time and money.

This sushi is extremely overpriced and extremely poor quality. I work in a Japanese restaurant in the states, and I wasn’t expecting anything extravagant but the fish was absolutely old and poor quality. I would also like to mention that the service from the server was cold and uninviting. An absolute waste of your time and money.

Used to love visiting Yo pre-covid however it’s gone really downhill.The portion sizes compared to price was shocking. The rolls were much smaller than what they used to be and the portions of fish within these was even smaller. The food generally was bland and unimpressive. The korean chicken, which used to be a favourite, was like Aldi chicken with some store bought sweet chilli sauce poured over.There was lots of choice on the conveyer belt however again the plates were priced much higher than the standard of food served on them.The restaurant and kitchen was clearly short staffed which affected service time and quality.Unfortunately we’ll not be likely to visit again in the future.

Food was decent but sooo overpriced. I paid an extra £3.50 for extra salmon on my poke bowl and when they brought it, there was what appeared to be only one serving of salmon, and when I asked, they said that it did have extra salmon, which makes me scared to think how little was put on originally! £8.50 for a dish of salmon sushi ended up being rice with paper thin sashimi on top, and we regretted that purchase too. Very yummy food but be wary of what you are buying

Appalling service and completely uninterested staff.We waited an excessively long time for things to arrive (it wasn’t even that busy), we frequently had to remind staff 2 and 3 times of items that were still missing.When items did eventually come they were incorrect - for example rice bowls that came with no rice. Again staff uninterested and lackadaisical in their efforts to rectify.

Great customer service by a young woman with red hair, came in on my break for avocado maki take away and there was none in the fridge so she asked the chef to make it for me fresh. Best customer service I’ve had in ages made my day thank you!

I am a big Yo! fan however this restaurant in particular is very hit or miss. One time our hot food didn’t arrive until and hour after we had ordered and another time the food was extremely salty. On other occasions the food has been really good. ?‍♀️

Had to wait a further 18 minutes past my pickup time because it looked like they had completely forgotten about my order and were printing it and sending it to the chefs, missed my train because of them. If I order for a certain pickup time, I expect it to be ready or just about for that time.

So Delicious ? ?? The YO! menu is also full of a mouth watering range of Japanese foods.

Amazing eating experience here. I do miss the wee doofer bringing my orders but it still works how it is now and the food is amazing.Very reasonably priced and the servers were all amazing.Try the Mega Korean chickwn Gyoza. They are magnificent.
