Ordered a big order on a sunday evening for 4 adults and 2 kids for a special 76th birthday celebration, on speaking to the Scottish girl on the phone she came across as being arrogant and rude while taking the order ending the call saying it would be a 1.5 hr wait fair enough ..Order arrived with both chicken fried rice missing at a cost of £7.80 eachI called back she said we didn't order the chicken fried rice we 100% did order the rice after paying £96.80 for the order...the same girl had a disgusting attitude on the phone in fact shocking customer service, ended the call with her.Certainly put a dampener on the evening and most definitely will not be ordering from Sung Sing Chinese in Haddington again !

First takeaway from sun sing in a long time ,Chicken fried rice and a curry sauceChicken tiny pieces with no flavour at all , rice hardly any flavour , curry sauce thick and not very nice at all , lumpy almost .Deep fried shredded beef in honey and ginger sauce ,again not what I know to expect , no nice coating on the deep fried shredded beef , a dry and and grim looking with just some sweet and sour sauce basically at the bottom with two tiny pieces sorry slithers of sliced carrot ,Soft noodlesOk but no nice flavour which you expect from noodles in a wok, basically blandLast chance from us , not ordering again.You be better with a microwave Chinese meal …

Asked for lemon chicken : somehow got chicken drowning in sweet and sour sauce - did t notice till we got home - walked back to the restaurant with the incorrect dish with rice expecting fresh rice with replacement lemon chicken dish - was given lemon chicken with the same portion of now cold rice - lovely really delicious would totally NOT recommend

Won't be ordering from this place again. Over the past year there have been mistakes with orders I have placed. Tonight, discovered another mistake (given squid instead of king prawns). Called to ask for a refund, the lady argued that this was my mistake and said they have no means to refund over the phone. Said I should return the order (40 minute round trip). Having had similar issues in the past with this place, decided to press. At the threat of small claims, she miraculously discovered she could in fact refund over the phone! The lady is extremely rude and could not care less for customers. Its a shame as this place USED to be good. Won't be going back.

So we ordered from here as a lot of other take-away restaurants were closed on Tuesday. We've not eaten from here before. Our order was for a set meal for two & from phoning in until ready was about 15 minutes. I'd give the food 4 out of 5 for quality & flavour. Everything well packaged & still hot after a 15 min car journey home. Quantity ! There was easily enough food to feed a family of 4 in our meal for 2. Great little carry out restaurant and on the basis of our only meal from there I'd be happy to recommend.
Great food! Great service! Delivery was fast and delivery driver was very polite :) always use this chinese and never had an issue. Its the go too takeaway for us .

Overcharged me for food then didn’t even give me free wings as the order was over £25 , had to wait 30 mins for them and by then all my other orders were cold , no apologies from staff , absolutely fuming

feel physically sick ordered a meal to share with my husband tonight opened the plastic containers to find what I'm sure is fruit flies! I'm absolutely disgusted I don't think I'll be able to eat for days now as the thought of it is churning my stomach! called the restaurant and asked for a refund to be told its not their problem. vile attitude vile meal
