Choice of Bar lunch, 2 or 3 course menu, very reasonably priced, or normal menu or even just a sandwich. Warm and welcoming pub. Soup and pate really good, chicken was ok, not much of it but appreciate this was a lunch menu, but grilled fish was lovely. Nice pleasant young girl served us. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Super friendly people and good beers. Came in before a show at the Corn Exchange and had a great time. Would love to come back.

Unfortunately will not be back . Such a shame. On booking I was told restaurant is now downstairs and pub sports bar upstairs . Where restaurant used to be . On entering realised that was not the case . Saturday night and we were the only people eating. 8 pm So rowdy with people shouting and swearing the waitress couldn’t even understand what drinks we were ordering because of the noise Our tapas was as good as before but we ate and left . Such a shame as we really enjoyed coming here and it was always busy . We did ask if it was always like this and was told Friday and Saturday was like this .

Chef asked us what we thought about the new dish he had added to the menu chatted with us and agreed with what we said nice touch you don't get that often in a resteraunt. Will be back again staff are good no complaints about anything. Worthwhile visit for the food.

Great food. Reasonably priced. Only downfall was the inn was cold. Log fire was not giving out any heat.

EGGS annual night out - looked after so well, welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. Lovely, varied menu. Delicious hot meal on piping hot plates. Nothing was any trouble. Thank you, Craig, Anna and all the staff. First class experience and I'm sure we'll be back.

Popped in for lunch. We were moved to another table so they could accommodate other guests. Bit cold, even though they could have built a fire in the fireplace. Food was above average. However, the barman is objectionable and rude. We won’t be going back again. It’s not a very welcoming place, such a shame in the middle of a lovely wee town.

Really nice little pub, we stopped in for a drink before we were going for a meal elsewhere! Great selection of drinks & good cocktails! Friendly & welcoming staff!

Went to the restaurant on Sunday, entered just before 1pm and got our main meal on the table at 1.50pm. We did order and receive a starter after 20 mins which was overcooked but then had a further 30 min wait for haggis, chicken salad and kids chicken nuggets! Others came in, got served, fed and paid while we were still waiting. No one came to ask how our food was though they did that for the other tables. Server then spray cleaned the table next to us, luckily I realised what she was about to do and was able to cover my food with my arm as the spray made its way over our table too. Was planning to order dessert and go back to try the tapas at a later date but will definitely not be back. Very disappointing

Honestly if you know Haddington this place has upped its game and continued to progress and do more for their customers .Great food , if you want a small eat the tapas is excellent but they offer a full menu that will surely serve any and all clientele .Craig, Anna and Stevie really make the place .
