Stumbled upon Bruce’s bites when working in the area. Hidden away in an industrial site. We had the Wee Scottie and Wee Veggie breakfasts and some vanilla lattes. Just what we needed when we were feeling shattered after a long nightshift. Came in for a family meal. We ordered a curry, 5 bean chilli and steak and kidney pie along with drinks. For us it was great value and really friendly staff. Nice and quiet for a Sunday evening.

What an absolute ripoff. Went with a friend for lunch, paid £16.40 for a small fish fillet, a spoonful of mushy peas and a handful of lukewarm chips also a 6oz burger with 1 slice of gherkin and a splash of sauce and even less chips, about 9 or ten…. Normally I’m a fan of Wetherspoons but this must be the worst place I have ever eaten…. If you fancy a ‘spoons avoid this one..

Flat lifeless beer, I have never been served a more poor pint of Abbot, I tried two both the same, looked good when served then spatter a couple of mouth full just went dead. My son tried a Hawkshead and it went the same way.

One of the most basic meals that we have received from the Wetherspoons brand. The staff did their best but you could tell that there was a shortage of serving staff and the food whilst edible was one of the most basic meals that we have ever received in a Wetherspoons. More of a boozers bar than a restaurant bar!

So we arrived, and ordered our drinks and food through the app. We was sat upstairs near the kitchen and the amount of childish behaviour and shouting from the kitchen was very unacceptable. Myself and my partner ordered from the burger menu, burnt burgers and very dry, also whilst eating a table close by ordered drinks, we witnessed staff bringing them up and putting them in the table without any interaction whatsoever. Not very professional at all.
The worst spoons breakfast. Egg and beans were cold. Should have sent it back. No longer a cheap meal.

Blink and you'll miss this place it's tucked away inside a company's yard within an industrial estate.Great food but can be very busy for a small cafe so leave a bit of time of your stopping by.Look for J&J Currie's yard to find the cafe

No different from any other spoons. Cheap drinks. Very extensive food menu. Staff seem a bit sullen but not anymore than any other Spoons. Table app ordering makes things easy. Not much more to say.
