I have just had my one and only piece of this “shortbread”, I have never tasted anything quite like it in my over 70 years of eating shortbread. The taste of artificial flavouring coupled with the small pieces of grit that were passed off as chocolate chips have left me feeling quite ill. There was no taste of butter but I have got a very greasy aftertaste in my mouth, needless to say the rest is going in the bin, revolting.

Some friends kindly gave us a box of Sinclair's shortbread fingers - they are possibly the best shortbread we have tasted. 10/10Shame we live in Peebles as they are not available elsewhere.
