Fab food, incredibly friendly service. The restaurant was a bit cold, but it has been exceptionally cold outside this week. Definitely will be back. We love it!

This fabulous restaurant is known my doorstep and yet I never think to write a review. So time to change that. Fantastic menu flavours awesome service always outstanding Usually book in with visiting family but yesterday was passing at teatime and just called in on the off chance. I have eaten Indian food in all continents but Saffron remains my favourite. The small intimate setting means you’re wise to book as it gets very busy. Congratulations to all for consistent quality authentic food And creating an ambience to match.

Friday 17th November 2023. Last night at home we opted for takeaway for dinner so we chose Saffron Indian restaurant in Innerleithen…. It took 20 minutes from phone call order to us collecting our meal … the staff at Saffron are helpful, pleasant and friendly and checked the contents of our order to make sure it was all present and correct. The meal was piping hot and absolutely the best Indian take away meal I have had … ?? thoroughly recommended. We will be back SOON.

Had a meal out here tonight. Absolutely brilliant, best curry I have had in a long time. Loads of meat in all the dishes. Highly recommend.

Excellent food and plenty of it. Glad we didn't have a starter! We couldn't finish all our meal, so were offered a takeaway box. It is a very small restaurant (seats 14 ), so best to book. Friendly staff.
Outstanding selection of Indian dishes - most gluten-free and dairy-free. I tried a new exotic dish I never tried and it was delicious. And wonderful personal service.

Have eaten here many times and never disappointed. It's so good we are booked in again with mountain biking friends in October whilst on our annual trip. We don't bother going anywhere else.... says it all!!

I did not expect a small Indian restaurant tucked away in a little Scottish village to be this good. It was amazing - quite literally one of the best curries I’ve ever had.
